Brought my wife to this hotel for our anniversary. The hotel is right on the beach, which is great. The hotel was nice and clean and was modern. It had a great breakfast. Rooms were well equipped with a microwave and small refrigerator. My only complaint was the bed, as the mattress seemed old and worn out. It wasn't real comfortable. All in all, I'd definitely would go back.

Outlets in room did not work including lamps. Had to charge phone overnight across the room in the one working outlet. Bathroom door was broke, literally off the hinge so very hard and loud to close. Bedding did not smell fresh. We had two beds (queens) and both mattresses were completely different. One felt like a pull out couch. Staff was nice. Free breakfast was nice. Room just needs some fixing. We were in the double queen suite so thought it would be a nicer room and was not.

2nd year in a row we’ve stayed 4 nights for a girls trip. We love everything about this place. Staff is super friendly and accommodating! And who doesn’t love a free breakfast!?! Love the beach attendants and service. $10 per lounge chair and you also get an umbrella. Everything is extremely walkable and if you don’t feel like walking, just hop on the trolley. Will definitely be back next year!

Second trip to Clearwater, both times staying at the Hampton. It is clean, beautiful, and fun. Great breakfast daily and there is always coffee. The pool is wonderful as well as direct access to the ocean.
