Spacious Home
The house has two living areas on the first floor, and an open kitchen. The rooms are spacious and you could easily fit a large group of 10+. However, our family of five had to space out showers so everyone could take a hot one. The water heater could not keep up after two consecutive 8-10 minute showers. That was a bit of a logistical headache each day but we managed.
The basement was cold, but it made it nice to sleep in. The basement has a small kitchen and small living area with some seating.
The neighborhood is … up and coming. Lots of renovations and construction happening. There isn’t much in walking distance. But it was a convenient location near I-44. The alley has a lot of pot holes, so many we opted to park on the street rather than scrap the car bumpers.
The house gave us enough space to spread out and gather for a meal. Everyone got their own bed and parking was free.

Clean, new home ideally located with a few drawbacks
The home was clean and beautifully appointed. The decor was peaceful and welcoming. The home had so many wonderful ammenities, a spacipus kitchen with all the gadgets for cooking, a welcome basket of treats, toiletries and cleaning supplies, a gorgeous master bedroom and bathroom, baby items and family games. The place was seriously much better than the pictures even showed. My favorite because im a bit of a mattreas snob, was how comfortable the beds were. They were the perfect amount of firmness for my husband but still soft as air for me. The lication was in the neighborhood of SLU and in close proximity to downtown.
Unfortunately there were 2 significant drawbacks. The firat being that the basement was freezing and no amount of adjusting the main floor thermostat could fix it. Hopefully the manement company can address thia with some space heaters. Secondly, the water heater was not big enough for the house. After just 2 short showers all the hot water was gone. Again hopefully this can be addressed, because this home was very lovely and accomodating for a large family and was a good value for the money. The management company was fairly easy to reach, although they were not able to solve the issues we had while we were there, which was inderstandable. Overall a very good home and an enjoyable stay.
