As mentioned by others, the staff was excellent, easy to speak with, unpretentious. Looking for a quiet getaway with a beach sans crowd steps away to public beach access, eateries and small grocery store within walking distance, then Meridian is the place.

Hotel a little bit old but we had a big room and a nice balcony, comfortable bed, AC and ceiling fan. Nice little kitchenette with microwave, hotplates, crockery and full size fridge. Reception were helpful with all our questions and money exchange. Special thanks to Michelle who was very helpful!

Everything was perfect. Rooms were clean maybe a little dated but when your in Barbados your not going for room your going for everything else. Had ample parking, walking distance to at least 2 dozen food spots. A short like very short walk and your on the sand at Dover beach. The staff exceptional all in all 10 out of 10 I’d go back and stay at the meridian inn every time

Recently spent two wonderful weeks at this place. Fantastic location, close to some wonderful beaches and restaurants, at the quiet end of the restaurant & bar strip. Clean basic rooms that have everything you need!

No wash cloths available. Staff said patrons were using them to clean their shoes and stopped using them. King bed is two twins pushed together creating center gap. Cup in bathroom was not sealed-a health code violation. Construction workers started before sunrise with loud talking and tools. Miserable experience. I won't be returning.

The place was clean and well kept, the in-house service was as expected and the staff extremely helpful and warm. I highly recommend to budget travelers. If you don’t like stairs, request rooms on the lower floors.

Very satisfied

The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. I was glad there was an electric kettle so I could make a cup of coffee. There were also plates and cutlery. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and I was very satisfied. And I loved that the room had air conditioning. It was great. I just think that there should be a clock in the room to ensure that I have the correct time and the TV has an issue. Watching programmes was not easy because some channels lost sound and although the picture was clear, it kept blinking. The screen would go black every couple of minutes. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and if I ever come back to Barbados the Meridian Inn would be my first choice of a place to stay.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the maid service was exceptional. They were always friendly and made sure the room stayed spotless each day. The staff in general were polite and helpful, and the kitchen area had all the basics needed for simple meals. I also liked that there were shops and restaurants nearby, which made it convenient. The only real issue was the shower, which stayed cold most of the time. Management explained that the water heater is located on the first floor and takes a while to reach the third floor. If that issue gets fixed, I would definitely stay here again.
