The beach house was excellent. Views of the sunrise and sunset were superb. The comfortable sunroom faces the beach and acts as a screened porch as needed. We enjoyed the hot tub during our weeklong stay. Easy access to the uncrowded beach.

This is our second Labor Day stay and we rebooked it based on cleanliness and amenities. It was almost identical to our last experience. So clean and well maintained. My friends are telling other people about Buns and plan to stay there too.

Jody was quick to respond to an issue with washing machine. Excellent communication. Beach house is lovely and in a great location. Primary bath however is in need of a remodel. Getting in and out of that dated sunken shower/tub combo is a bit tricky.

Short but sweet

While a hurricane forced us out early, we had a great time while we were there. Property looked like pictures, living area, kitchen and screened in porch were comfortable and easily accommodated our needs. Bedrooms were also comfortable and plenty of storage. Only suggestion would be to replace toilets with comfort height elongated toilets vs current ones. Would come back again.

our best SGI experience!

Our last couple of SGI stays were disappointing. The last one was so bad (through a local rental group) that we vowed to never return. Thank heavens for Buns in the Sun and VRBO! It was perfect. The lay out of the house, kitchen utensils, sun porch, hot tub, location, cleanliness and upkeep. Painting was immaculate. Loved it. We'll be back for sure.

The property was very clean and well maintained. This was our second visit to St. George Island.

We enjoyed the island experience. The stay was relaxed and everything we hoped for aside from an early visit from Hurricane Debby which created a brief evacuation. Regardless, many happy memories were created. The only thing missing was a golf cart, but that was easily remedied by the many helpful island vendors.

Amazing vacation

The house is magnificent. very clean, well maintained, beautifully decorated. The location is right on the beach - it couldn't be better. Sunroom is a place of power - we shaved off the heat there and at the same time retained the opportunity to admire the splendor of the gulf, dolphins, pelicans, etc. The weather and the moon were favorable to us, and we were able to see the Milky Way. And last but not least, the owners are very attentive and kind, they really care about their clients. We will definitely come back here.

Things needing fixing

We liked the home ,the location etc. There are some major issues with the home is why I would not rent it again. Your bathrooms need remodeling .Toilets are from the 70's and I am in great shape but I felt like I was sitting on a toilet from a kindergarten. We had to spend $100 on a riser for my 91 year old father in-law that gets around really well. The master bath tub/shower is dangerous. whoever built that step to get in the tub made the problem getting in the tub even worse. My father in law could only take a sponge bath while we were there due to no walk in showers and no safety grab bars. You need at least one walk-in shower in the house.
