I will start with the positive.This is a well located home was adequate for our group of 5. A/C worked well.The living room and the room off of the kitchen provided some extra space for people.Unfortunately, there were multiple issues that prevented us from truly enjoying it. The kitchen alone had multiple snags. The stovetop was so wonky we ended up not being able to prepare some meals as the burners were completely unpredictable in their function.The dishwasher had a broken rack. The ice maker was not working and had to be reset. The set of knives was so dull that they barely cut. One had painters tape on it as if it had been used for a tool. There was no kettle. And we had to buy our own dish liquid. We had to change the propane tank. No big deal, but the new tank had a leaky valve, so the grill was unusable(unresolved). The fire pit had old wood in it. This house is very basically outfitted. No matches, pen, paper.Bed linens very basic and thin. I did communicate with the management company, not VRBO initially, and they were responsive at first but that communication dropped off. Its interesting to me that despite my respectfully communicating that we had multiple issues, none of the parties sought a list of those issues so I expect the next renter will be in the same boat. In summary, a decent house with a generic feel that needs some attention to make it worth the very high price. We were refunded for one night's stay.
