Updated and spacious condo in a great location. Walking distance to restaurants and beach. Fit our group of 8 no problem. Nice community deck that overlooks the harbor. Only issues are there’s only one shower (master bath has a bathtub only), there were some stains on the carpet and it’s right in the path of late night passing by revelers from nearby bars (so it can be loud until after 2am on a Saturday night). Overall, it’s a nice place in a great location, but my family and I would avoid the weekend if we stay here again.

We had a wonderful time on our family vacation. Great location, we loved sitting on the deck. It might be worth putting a bed in the 3rd bedroom vs the pull out sofa.

Could have been better

We had a decent stay in this rental unit, but were generally unimpressed and would not stay here again. First the good things. It was very clean and the location is great if you're primarily interested in spending time downtown. But it's located next to some of the most popular bars and there is a lot of noise as people make their way home at 1 am. And those voices seem like they are in two of the bedrooms. While there are two full bathrooms, only one of them has a shower, so the second one wasn't particularly useful for our family with teens. Finally, the property management company (Shores) could have been better. I received some info via email, different info via text, but none of the info was loaded into the VRBO app, which made finding info difficult. We weren't given any guidance on where to park for the full stay or temporarily to unload luggage and the parking lot next to the building was roped off when we arrived. Unnecessarily difficult. No late check out available even though it wasn't rented the next night. And when I asked to adjust the length of the stay before the deadline to make changes, I was initially told no changes were possible. It was only after I pointed to the VRBO terms that they issued a partial refund. We've been staying in VRBOs for more than a decade in South Haven and this was one of our least favorite.

Wonderful Location But parking was kinda odd

We really loved our stay, right on Black River, Walking distance to almost everything. Place was very clean, well stocked with essential items, layout was awesome.. We would definately consider staying here again. Only downside was the parking it was just in a usual place, across the street, there is a sign but it wasn't something that just sticks out. Other than that I highly recommend!

Overall impression

The property itself is very well-maintained clean with well appointed furniture and decorations. Unfortunately, I was never informed how to locate the property. I was only given an address and the term unit B, I couldn’t find a unit B, but after 30 minutes of searching, I found it. It would’ve been very helpful if specific directions were given to locate this unit. I contacted the emergency after hours telephone number in that our arrival was on Sunday. I explained to them I couldn’t find the unit and they said that is not an emergency. They said an emergency is only if there is a fire, gas, water, air conditioning, heat issue. Additionally, all the basics were present in the unit. We would have however, appreciated coffee, and associated condiments. Commonly coffee and a variety of spices are provided for cooking at other Verbo units. Also, my wife was unable to get into the bed in the primary bedroom. It was so high that they provided a steps tool to get in. Due to her fragility, she was not able to use the steps stool and get into the bed so we needed to use a secondary bedroom with a smaller bed. We wish we would’ve had that information prior to the booking. Overall, we highly recommend this property.

My boyfriend and I love Michigan trips and found this lovely condo in South Haven. It is within walking distance of pretty much anything you could want while there. 3 min drive from grocery. Great location, great condo and lovely views!

Great large place

The condo was very large and nice. Well equipped kitchen, spacious dinning and living area. Good size bedrooms. Only negative was that the master bath only has a bathtub no shower.

Nice property and location

Enjoyed our stay. Only suggestion would be to leave instructions for the television since there are multiple remotes and the deck could use an occasional cleaning. Otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location was great, close to both beaches, downtown and watering holes on the Black Rivier.
