"Suite with king bed and sofa bed in sitting room. King bedroom was wonderful. Sofa bed not so much. Sofa bed mattress requires a pad, or else every spring can be felt. French doors to the room are right next to the sofa bed and they have large frosted glass panels with no shades or curtains, so hallway lights lights up the room - not great for sleepers who need dark. Lots of families stay here so kids were squealing in the hallways until 11:30 one night. King room was dark, quiet and lovely. Elevators were very slow. I ended up taking stairs up and back from the 8th floor instead of waiting (I like stairs, though) Pizza restaurant adjacent to lobby was surprisingly good for a quick meal. Also - complementary happy hour drinks and snacks plus a great hotel breakfast make this a good value for travelers. I applaud the hardworking staff who feed and clean up after all the guests."

"Came to Chicago for a 10 day work trip. My stay at Surestay was awesome. Hotel very clean, room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast each morning. Great way to start my day. Location was good. Easy to get to work. There’s a couple of malls in the area for food options. There’s also a Greek restaurant next door. I was told the food is good. Not complaints. Easy place to stay and clean, which is a big plus. Also the staff were amazing. Thank you"
