What a beautiful property. We were welcomed by the incredible scent of jasmine throughout the hotel and found the source in the incredible garden. This hotel was perfect! Perfect location. Perfect staff. Perfect breakfast. Perfect scenery. We absolutely loved our time at Antiche Mura and will definitely return.

We loved this very well located hotel! It’s of the heavily trafficked areas and is in immaculate shape. We did not feel like we were in a high tourist destination. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They all have a great sense of humor that makes it for a fun stay. The pool area makes it feel so Italian with fruit trees and gardens. We loved the breakfast and the bar also. The only inconvenience would be the small room. We were pretty tight with 3 pieces of luggage in the room. Im sure there are larger ones to consider. Just have to pay attention to room size when booking.

The hotel is situated three minutes walk from the town centre, which makes it very convenient for popping back to if you need to unload your shopping or put your feet up for a while. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, very friendly all round. We’ve stayed here several times over the years, they always remember us and it feels like home from home now. We’ll definitely be going back again.

In the centre of Sorrento. Sitting in the Citrus Grove beside the pool you would not know you were in a busy city. Loved all the tiled floors. Staff were excellent. All very helpful. We arrived by ferry and got a taxi as very very steep hill which most of the town is built on. Left by train which was about 10 min walk to train station, less if u are fit. The bus to Naples airport goes from there too. Train left on time and arrived on time.

Hotel Antiche Mura, an exceptional boutique hotel

Antiche Mura is a very special boutique hotel located in the heart of Sorrento only a few minutes walk to the lively old town, and full of surprises! Hidden behind hotel are its beautiful gardens, one a grove of lemon and orange trees, perched along the verge of a deep natural chasm! My room, with its pretty majolica-tiled floors, was charming, and its bed very comfortable. But what I loved were French doors that opened to a little balcony with table and chairs for two…and a breathtaking view into a very deep chasm. Breakfast was extensive and exceptionally good, especially outside in the garden. Also exceptional were the hotel staff. All were professional, welcoming, and most helpful. Hotel Antiche Mura is one of the best. I loved it!

Amazing hotel, the staff were just wonderful - Rocco was a star! Hotel is beautiful and just what you need - a little oasis away from the business of Sorrento, such a great location just off the main square! Breakfast offers just what you need, pool is lovely as lots of sun lounges. Best thing about hotel is location and staff - but are amazing and made our stay! A must stay for Sorrento!

The property at this hotel is incredible! The garden and pool surrounded by orange and lemon trees, plus the view overlooking the gorge makes the hotel a unique place to stay. Walking distance to everything, and the breakfast was excellent.

Hotel Antiche Mura is a premier property in Sorrento. It is very walkable and convenient to the city center and the port. There is a passagiata just steps from the hotel. The morning breakfast was incredible each day and had changing pastries each morning.

The hotel was conveniently located to the center of Sorrento. Breakfast buffet was amazing with beautiful seating inside and outside at the gardens with lemon trees and orange trees all around you. Pool are was very nice a little to cool this time of year to swim. The only thing I would say is that they should have some type of sign on the doors of the rooms or some mechanism to keep from slamming every time someone went into the room or out of the room you could hear the door slam.

Would definitely recommend this place! Good food and drinks, friendly and helpful staff, meticulously cleaned and maintained, excellent location. We stayed a week and it was a great home base for our trip to Sorrento.
