We value our guests and their privacy. We live on-site, on a private attached extension of the property. We have our own private deck & spaces & large gorgeous back garden courtyard. All guests have use of the park-like acreage but both our Suites have their own private parking/decks/lounging area's & Suites are not visible from your private decks & spaces. There are no "shared" spaces/walls/decks etc..

Our Rates include a lovely thoughtful "self-catering" breakfast basket (in suite upon arrival)
Our Privacy & Your Privacy is important to us and we are available if and when needed via phone or email.

No Pets & Only registered guests on property at all times unless previously approved. Absolutely no smoking indoors or in close proximity to doors and windows - there is a designated outside area. Please ask.

Tanya and Terry's accommodations were absolutely breathtaking! Such lovely details to make our stay an absolute dream - fresh flowers, breakfast basket and treats, heavenly scented soaps, soft sheets, comfortable seating everywhere, the use of the washer/dryer, and even the use of the golf cart to view the expansive property as my husband had mobility challenges! Tanya's instructions were well communicated and they were always available to answer any questions, but never intrusive so you had complete privacy. We had a fabulous stay to celebrate our 20th year anniversary and staying at the Sea of Serenity made it even more special. Thank you Tanya and Terry for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway

We needed some time away to relax and this place delivered. The hosts were awesome and provided a nice welcome basket of breakfast items, including fresh eggs! The view of the ocean and surrounding mountainside was spectacular. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer, but we will keep this place in mind the next time we decide to visit.

We stayed here 4 nights and the views and the private feel of the property was wonderful. We were able to relax and read our books on the deck without any disruptions and this was really so important for us. We hiked and went into Sooke for groceries and the local folks just completed our stay of good feelings! We already miss it!

Serenity, indeed!

Sea of Serenity was exactly as the photos potrayed. Tanya and Terry were wonderful hosts, with helpful suggestions for activities. The suite was simply and tastefully furnished, with all the amenities. A lovely gift basket for breakfast meant we did not need to stop at a grocers.The views of the Olympic Peninsula were good, and seals and sea lions were sighted. We highly reccommend this location!

Among the best!

We spent 4 nights at Sweet Serenity Retreat. My husband and I have stayed at many VRBO's worldwide and this is added to our list of "the best". Tanya and Terry have thoughtfully seen to every detail to assure a memorable and relaxing experience. The very large studio provided plenty of space, the king size bed and luxury linens were divine, the kitchen was well stocked and the welcome basket provided lovely breakfasts for us. Spectacular views of the water and mountains

This was one of the most unique and beautiful properties we have ever stayed. The view of the water and mountains was so peaceful! The hosts provided a basket with breakfast food and snacks that was so appreciated. We had great communication with Tanya, also, and would highly recommend staying here.

Spacious, Clean and Updated.

This is a beautiful location and a bright clean room. Tanya provided all kinds of extras including a high quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash from Saltspring Island. The sheets were lovely, crisp and clean as was the duvet. Easy access in/out. Great communication with Tanya but very private during out stay. This would be amazing in the summer when the big doors could be open. If you like to sleep in beware that the geese may not be on your schedule : )))

Great place

We enjoyed our stay here. The owners were very nice and the property was clean and well kept. The location is great. While we loved the place, the listing didn't quite communicate that it is a converted garage space attached to a much larger house. That being said, it was still nice, the breakfast basket they provided was great, and we would definitely stay again.

Perfect place for us

This gorgeous suite overlooks the water, is quiet and well-appointed. There is no detail spared- perfectly designed space. Owners were helpful and kind. We loved staying here amongst the water views and trees vs busy Victoria that was full of cruise ship crowds. Highly recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous property with every detail thought out.

Our hosts were responsive to any need and ensured we had good directions. They are a warm inviting couple who have missed no detail in ensuring our comfort and needs were attended to. From the self-catered breakfast tray with fresh local treats to the comfortable bed and beautiful well-stocked kitchen and bath... the inside was amazing. Outside was a park-like paradise that we didnt want to leave.
