There was absolutely nothing to like, except for the location. Which has nothing to do with the hotel itself.
Upon arrival, we were faced by the person running the hotel with the statement "This stay has not been paid for, your credit card company declined the payment." Not true, of course, the stay was pre-paid through Expedia.
We were then shown the room that we apparently booked - a room with a single window opening into the ventilation shaft, full of pigeons and pigeon increment. So we decided to change the room and paid extra for a better room.
Next, we were supposed to have free breakfast included. But, this hotel DOES NOT serve breakfast at all.
Next, we were supposed to get FREE PARKING. But, the hotel DOES NOT have any parking spaces and there is no discount in the nearby public garage for hotel guests. The guy claimed that there is discount for hotel guest, but the actual cost was less than what he told us the cost is after discount (which does not exist).
We stayed for three nights and did not have the room cleaned at all. In the room there were load of light fixings, but most of them do not have bulbs!
Expedia should have a better quality control over properties offered on its website. This one is simply not acceptable and should not be listed at Expedia web site in the first place.
Admittedly, this is our first ever problem with Expedia booking and they have promised to refund the extra costs incurred by us.
