We stayed at this lake house for 4 days over the summer at explore Mt St Helens. The house is incredibly spacious, clean and located very close to the new Interpretive Center and in one direction, a few minutes to the main town and in the other direction, on the road that leads to the mountain (45 min). The house is located next to a quiet member's-only property with cabins and RV's. The inside has plenty of space, accommodations, features and nice huge TV's for rainy days. While we experienced a snafu with our reservation from the owners, it was sorted quickly and honored. It was a nice stay and we'd come back again and recommend it to others!

The house was quite funky but worked just fine for us. The heat was definitely extreme the weekend we stayed but the air conditioning units are very old so I’m not sure they would have kept up anyway. It was very warm in the house even with the ac units running. Dominique was wonderful though. Responded quickly to anything I needed. I did have to message her to get check in instructions as there were non upon check in. Overall I would stay here again but there could be some improvement. The pictures on the listing could definitely be updated. There is another bedroom that isn’t shown in pictures and there is no bathroom that isn’t in a bedroom. It’s odd.

First off we were told the key opened the door. It was almost dark when we arrived and we’re about to go to a hotel when we figured out the key pad actually opened the door by just pushing enter. Anyone could get in at any time!All outdoor spaces old dilapidated and dirty. Inside the house spaces were okay. Not a comfortable place to sit. Beds were comfortable. I gave an overall rating of 2 only because the view was nice and the beds were comfortable

Excellent property

It’s a great property. Very private location with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, large kitchen, living room, and deck. Very close to Castle Rock, the Cowlitz River, and Mt St Helens. Excellent value.
