This cabin was absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully maintained. The cozy fireplace created such a warm, relaxing atmosphere and made our stay at Shaver Lake even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful!

Wonderful and relaxing stay with my family. The cabin has everything you need and great personal touches by the host. We didn’t want to leave.

Awesome cabin within walking distance of stores and restaurants.

My son and I were both impressed by this VRBO. So much so, that we plan on returning in 2025!

Great stay

Property was clean and as advertised. Easy walk into town for dinner and groceries through a lovely little neighborhood. The lake is just a short drive away. We had a great trip and would book with Jamie again.

Adorable cabin. Beautiful fireplace.very cute kitchen. All beds and couch were very comfortable. Walking distance to everything. Amazing pillows. So glad we hot to stay.

We had a great stay at the Cedar House. Everything worked great. Jamie, our Cabin Host, was the best at communication and directions on the Shaver Lake area. We will be back again.

Cozy cabin

The Cedar House was the perfect place to spend a weekend. It was perfectly clean and had homey touches that made it feel like a comfortable home. We easily walked to pick up a pizza in town the first night and enjoyed it on the beautiful cabin deck in the trees. It had all the kitchen essentials needed to make dinner the next night. It was a very convenient location with a quick drive to the lake. We would definitely stay again!

This will be our second year staying at the Cedar House. We plan to return next year for our vacation. We love everything about the house. It was very clean and it has so many things provided for us. Plenty of towels, beach towels and kitchen towels plus plenty of cookware and utensils. Easy walk to downtown Shaver and the fun shops. We walked to Dora Bella and went swimming at the lake almost daily. We enjoyed eating our meals outside on the porch and also cooking meals on the great BBQ. Evenings we enjoyed the fire pit and star gazing.

Loved The Cedar House

My friends and I loved this home!! It was so cute and comfortable!! It’s located so close to town. We walked the mile to the lake front in Dorabella Campground after finding out day parking passes sell out quickly on Sat morning! The kitchen was fully stocked and we enjoyed eating our meals on the deck and using the propane fire pit to make s’mores. The Cabin Host was so helpful with all our questions!

Loved staying here!

The cabin is even better in person than in the photos… it is the sweetest coziest little place! Very clean and organized. The host has everything stocked for basic cooking. There is a washer and dryer. A barbecue and a table and fire pit on the patio. One of the nicest Places I have stayed in Shaver Lake. She also had the place decorated for the holidays. She was very communicative as well. I highly recommend this cozy cabin. We look forward to our next stay ⛄️

Sequoia surprise

We arrived after dark and we're delighted by Sequoias out our window in the morning. We only stayed two nights, but definitely wish we could have stayed longer. The home was full of thoughtful choices like a tree motif in the master shower and kitchen upgrades that just say "vacation" when you walk in. Definitely take the hike listed in the binder walking down to the lake and back.

Missing

The cabin was beautiful and in a very nice area, close to all with walking access. The only problem we had was, there was no storage in the kitchen or no dresser in the bedrooms. We had to live out of our suitcases which isn't too good when you are there all week.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST!

Really enjoyed everyyy single aspect of staying at The Cedar House cabin! It was sooo cozy & comfy & had everything we needed to enjoy the best weekend. We especially loved the welcome bottle of wine, reading by the fireplace inside, playing with the included board games, watching movies on the smart tv, roasting s'mores at the outdoor fire pit (they even had the sticks!), & how close the neighborhood was to the cutest little town! We would walk over to get coffee & monkey bread in the mornings for breakfast & then cook the dinner we brought in the adorable little fully stocked kitchen listening to their sweet collection of vinyl records. The whole stay really was just so sweet & enjoyable! Also LOVED booking through @thecabinhost - she provided us with everyyy single detail needed to make the whole experience go smoothly & she makes herself available to answer any questions. She also just has the most kind personality & genuinely wants to ensure that her guests have a great experience. Will 10000% be wanting to stay here again - thank you! xx
