Good hotel but with some noise

This hotel has good location, which is close to a business area; however the hotel is close to the street, so it was quite noisy at night.

This rooms in this hotel are decent but overall cleanliness is poor. The hotel smells strange, from food, mold and cigarette smoke. The rooms don't get cleaned well and the hallways are often dirty. In addition, there is a lot of smoking in the facility with people smoking in their rooms and hallways. Breakfast is ok but extremely repetitive. Overall, below expectations for Ibis. Having said that, the location is undergoing renovations and should resolve some of these issues.

No Frills Stay. Good Value for Money

I called the receptionist while I was on the train to Shanghai and he was very helpful in helping me choose the best way to get to the hotel. When I arrived, he helped me download the hotel chain App. Very patient guy I tell you :). He then helped me to obtain a free breakfast coupon, YAY!!! He then checked me in and the room was as basic as I expected it to be. Clean linen as usual with IBIS. I will recommend they replace the carpet on the corridors as it looked dated and was not fresh. Breakfast was IBIS Style, no frills but it was tasty. I enjoyed it.
