The expansive back entertaining deck incorporating a Horizon pool is an awe-inspiring added feature capturing delightful ocean breezes, picturesque views over 1770 bay waters and a stunning mountain backdrop. Beautiful spot with amazing views. Home presented very nicely with everything you need and a short stroll down to beach and Marina. Wish we had a few more days there (we had 3) to enjoy the beauty a bit more.

Great Location, super accommodation
Our family had a 4 night stay July school holidays. The cabin is in a great location. It's very clean, modern and well presented. Walking distance to shops, water and parks. We have a 4wd and it did not fit in the carport minor issue. Check in and out was easy. Comfortable beds, great deck. Highly recommended

Speedy's Shack 1770
We love 1770 and chose to stay there as part of a "travel around Qld" holiday we just took for 3 weeks. We stayed for 3days and 2 nights and although we had one rainy day it was still a great stay. The house was wonderful with beautiful ocean views. We would definitely stay there again. I was too large for us but we wanted a lovely view. The rainy day was perfect for relaxing.

Loved it, although...........
Firstly, fantastic location, comfortable beds and great bathrooms. Outdoor area has stunning views but got extremely hot in the winter afternoon as sun shone straight onto balcony. Unfortunately the kitchen didn’t live up to expectations as a chefs kitchen. I needed to buy a chopping board and sharp knives as only a bread knife and blunt carving knife were provided and a small wooden board. It was also lacking in food prep bowls and serving platters/bowls.
A spring clean would benefit the shack too for windows, screens and cobwebs, otherwise it was well turned out.
Would recommend staying here, but bring extra tea towels and some kitchen equipment if you are staying and eating in

Gorgeous and Relaxing... the view is amazing.
Speedy's Shack was just gorgeous. So comfortable, everything there you could possibly need. We stayed 7 nights with our 3 children (3 to 12 yrs)... it was perfect. Walk to the 1770 shore front to swim, fish, paddle board. Quick and easy drive into Agnes Water for surf beach and supplies.
The views!! Stunning sunset views from the entire house and especially the deck. Drinks and nibbles on the deck each afternoon watching the sun go down and the tide change, breakfast on the deck with the birds and the wallabies playing in the back yard. Great space, great breeze. Air conditioned, but we didn't need it. So quiet, peaceful, just beautiful. Very clean and in top condition. Room to park the boat. No complaints from us.
