We were very happy with your stay at Dogana. The staff were incredibly helpful, sharing lots of local information on places to go and restaurants. The breakfast was very generous and there was something for everyone to eat. The shower was good with good pressure. You do need a car from here as you are several kms from the old town sites. We would recommend this hotel whilst taking a short trip to San Marino.

Great experience

The hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. It was located close to a bus stop and many shops and restaurants. The beds were a little stiff and not the most modern finishes. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived at the hotel as a family, 1 night, 2 rooms. Very nice staff, clean rooms. The walls are a bit thin, and the late night conversations of loud guests could be heard from the room next door. Other than that everything was fine.

This is a no frills hotel that just about works. Everything is old. The air con did not work. The fridges in the room were poor. The aircon unit iflooded in our room and a roof tile fell whilst we were asleep. Whilst the staff were apologetic, it had obviously happened before. Samuel was very helpful.

A good option, but could be better

The location is good, close to the bus stop on the Rimini - San Marino route, and only a short walk to the border. Supermarket nearby is good, and there are restaurants and a shopping center nearby. The national football stadium is also within walking distance. The room was a bit dated and could benefit from some renovation. The mattress was not very comfortable. The shower in my room was in particularly bad condition. There is no cubicle, but foldaway doors, which were installed incorrectly, meaning they don't lock together and move about while you shower, and were also cracked, meaning the toilet and whole floor gets wet when you shower. On the bright side, the staff were very nice and keen to help. For a short trip, you have a reasonable option, but it would not be comfortable for a longer stay.

Booked a family room. Was clean and spacious, everything we needed. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Parking was available on street just outside the hotel. We had a really nice time and would go back again.

Clean and efficient, but parking nightmare

The hotel itself was perfectly fine, and the staf was very attentive and professional but it’s location was horrible. It’s right in the middle of of an urban area and in front of, basically, a highway that you can’t cross. So there’s no where to go for food, except the hotel itself. And a stroll through a quaint village to find a cafe to enjoy a croissant, espresso, and the view, was totally not happening. The biggest issue was the parking. Along the curb right in front of the hotel and about 6 spots on the side of their restaurant are what’s available to guests. We waited almost 2 hrs for someone to leave the restaurant to get their parking spot. All the surrounding spots are for the residential apartments on all 3 sides of the hotel and are tow zones if you don’t have a permit. I haven’t a clue what they do when they’re full capacity, because there were literally about 20 spots available.
