Our stay here was overall good, we really enjoyed how quiet the location is and how close it is to everything. The only con we experienced was upon checking in at 7am, there was no one at the front desk. The employee onsite was sleeping in a room next to the reception area and clearly just woke up, which I found a bit unprofessional. Other than that, the hotel itself is great!

Clean hotel and spacious room for four people. Four bottles of water are provided everyday. Free washer and dryer with detergent on top floor. Nice lounge and terrace with a nice view on the top floor. Plenty of amenities like shampoo, liquid soap, hair dryer, tea/coffee, refrigerator, and a safe in room. Room service is once during our stay. Put dirty towels and trash outside the room door in the morning. Receive clean towels and water bottles in a bag outside the room door. Friendly front desk staff who speak limited English. The staff helped call a taxi for us twice. The taxi is inexpensive in Seoul and takes credit card. The staff also watch the luggage before check in and after check out. Although the hotel is inside an alleyway it is safe and just a minute walk to the main street. Hotel is close to restaurants, cafes, and buses. Train station is about 10 minutes walk. Remember to scan the Tmoney card when entering and exiting the bus/train. Walking distance to the palaces, oldest market, trendy Youth Avenue, and Cheonggyecheon stream. A nice hotel overall.

I guess they need to have a solution to block the water inside the shower when anybody is having a shower. Currently when you have a shower over there the bathroom floor gets wet very quickly and that’s not comfy.

Rating: 5/5 – Fantastic Stay in a Prime Location! I had a wonderful stay at Rian Hotel Jongno-gu. The location is incredibly convenient — just minutes away from public transportation, including both train and bus stations, making it super easy to get around Seoul. The neighborhood is full of great restaurants and cafes, all within walking distance. The room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The staff were exceptional — friendly, helpful, and always available when needed. If you’re looking for a clean, well-located hotel with great service, Rian Hotel is a fantastic choice. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a good stay at Hotel Rian. The room size of our deluxe triple room was great. They brought new towels each day and could clean the room at your request. The bathroom was little odd where we had a rain fall shower and the toilet to the left side, the sink in the middle which was attached to the room, then a bathtub/shower to the right side of the sink. The knobs/shower heads were a bit shaky but still worked fine. The hotel itself had a nice lounge, rooftop, and free laundry machines w/ dryer (not common in Korea) so that was nice! The area the hotel in is definitely not what you would expect as it was in between the trophy/plaque business district. Could definitely looked a bit unsafe at night but it was pretty safe.

Everything you need in a great location, comfortable and access to everything is very easy. Walking distance to loads of great attractions as well as Jongno 3 station which has access to 3 transport lines, lots of shops, great restaurants and branches (including viral Isaac Toast), so many bus routes as well.

The hotel only a couple of minutes from the subway line. Just exit number 15 on the number 1 line and through a alley right beside a pharmacy.

Un hotel estupendo, muy nuevo, habitaciones muy amplias (dificil de encontrar) a tan solo 5 min de la parada de metro de Jongno-3, que une 3 lineas de metro diferentes. El staff de recepción es amable y siempre te saluda al entrar, aunque su inglés no es perfecto, te ayudan en lo que pueden. Las habitaciones no se limpian todos los dias, a menos que lo pidas, pero te dejan toallas y agua en la puerta a diario. Son habitaciones modernas y bien decoradas, bien iluminadas y con nevera y kettle, incluso una zona aparte para sentarse. El hotel tiene un salon con microondas y cafetera para uso de los clientes, asi como lavadora y secadora gratuitas (lo malo es que si estan en uso, hay que esperar, porque solo hay una y los programas pueden tardar hasta 3 horas!) El hotel tiene miles de detalles para los clientes, desde un peso para maletas en la entrada, secador de paraguas y una maquina de Wowpass en la puerta. Lo recomiendo sin duda.
