Villa Kala

Villa Kalais a charming 5-bedroom villa with private pool situated in the idyllic old village of Povlja on the Island of Brač. This rental villa by the sea is a traditional Dalmatian 3-storey stone house thatwas completely renovated in 2012. The outside area features a 23m swimming pool with sunloungers and an outdoor shower, lounge area and a large terrace with natural shade where the guests can enjoy alfresco dining with BBQ.

From the terrace the guests have access to one of the en suite bedrooms with separate entrance from the outside and also access to a laundry room with fitness and play corner (elliptical trainer, exercise bike, table football) and a guest toilet.

On the ground floor of the villa there is a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, 4 ring electric hob, oven, dishwasher, toaster, filter coffee machine, microwave, mixer) with dining area and a guest toilet. The ground floor also features a cosy living room with two sofas, SAT TV and exit to the terrace with lounge and pool area.

Connected through the internal staircaise, the first floor features one en suite double bedroom with king size bed and a window to the sea side, and also one more large en suite double bedroom with king size bed, sofa and a balcony to the hill side.

The second floor features one en suite double bedroom with king size bed and a balcony with a sea view, and also one more large en suite double bedroom with king size bed, sofa and a balcony to the hill side.

For those who want to enjoy the authentic and tranquil island atmosphere, Povlja is perfect spot for you. Situated in a picturesque bay on the Island of Brač, with rich history and tradition, this idyllic little island town will amaze you with it's charm.

Villa Kala is situated near the parish church of Povlja, where are the remains of the biggest early Christian basilica on the island of Brač from 6th century.

The villa owner also has a traditional family owned restaurant „Konoba Kala“ in the town center by the sea, were you can enjoy the amazing local food.

The local beach is only 300 m away and the grocery store, cafe bars and restaurants are within walking distance.

In Povlja you can also rent scooters, quads or a speedbat and explore the island on your own or simply take a taxi boat that will take you to the some secluded island beaches.
