Pros: Nice neighborhood with a market next door and really good cafes and restaurants up the hill a few blocks. Comfortable beds and linens. Nice space but could use an upgrade in places, namely the bathrooms and kitchen. Host was really responsive.Cons: Went at the beginning of spring and there was an ant issue. We noticed some traps around but brought some more and then a can of raid. It was not a pleasant thing to deal with and in hindsight I should have reached out to the host sooner to have him resolve the issue. It seemed minor at first but then got worse. The other big issue was the internet. It was terrible and we could barely stream anything on the TV. I was there for a medical appointment and would have liked to stream some shows while resting.

Location, location, location! When my doctor at Fred Hutch Cancer Center told me that I needed to return for five-weeks of radiation therapy this fall, I began looking for housing that was in a quiet neighborhood, close to the clinic, and would accommodate a dog and cat. This lakeside condo checked all the boxes! It was an easy 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive to the clinic. Aside from the proximity to the clinic, my wife and I found the location to be fantastic for our lifestyle. The condo is literally on Cheshiahud Lake Union Loop Trail for scenic walks along the lake. It is in a quiet neighborhood where we felt safe walking the dog whether it was 6:00 am or 10:00 pm. Pete’s Supermarket is two-doors down the street and has just about anything you need. Eating establishments along Eastlake Ave. were a short (but steep) hike up the hill (our favs were Little Water Cantina, Mioposto, and Grand Central Bakery). The condo is also centrally located to several other great Seattle neighborhoods. It is a 20-minute walk to South Lake Union; a 10 to15-minute drive to Capitol Hill, Queen Anne, or the Space Needle. We often took the bus to U-district (10-minute bus ride) or Pike Place Market (15-minute bus ride). Venturing further afield, the condo is just minutes away from I-5, but far enough away that you do not hear the traffic noise. Our host was super helpful and responsive both prior to and during our stay. We would definitely book it again!

Wonderful property! Clean, modern. We really appreciated the YouTube TV, as we wanted to watch the Nebraska football game after checking in. The beds were absolute heaven!!! Great location. We stepped across the street and took a tour of ten houseboats. The condo is within walking distance of a grocery store and several restaurants (speaking of, avoid Serafina‘s Italian. Not worth it!) Sidenote: we had a local recommend Anthony’s Pier 66 seafood restaurant, and it was the best meal we had on our entire vacation. Anyway, book this property. You won’t be sorry!

Property was nice and clean. The property is across the road and a parking lot, with a large condo building, boathouses, and trees blocking any view of the lake. I would call it near the lake but not lake side. There are lots of restaurants and a small grocery store within easy walking distance.

Property was in an awesome location and Abraham was great. Overall a good stay though worth noting that since it is the lower unit, it is a bit older and can have the older Seattle home feel. However, the unit has been nicely renovated in the living room and bedrooms. The bathrooms were a bit older but totally fine. Communication was great and Abraham even accommodated an earlier check in which was very appreciated. Would stay again though we would like to try the unit above next time.

Quick night in Eastlake

Great place for a quick night in Eastlake to kick off our vacation. Interior was clean and had everything we needed. Great to have offstreet parking reserved. Comfortable beds. Overall esthetically pleasing. Beds were lovely, comfy. The internet repeatedly dropped. They stated YouTube TV available but it was not accesible. The master tub did not drain properly so you stood in dirty water showering. Poorly maintained, garbage around outside, inside several drawers there was chipped paint, stains. The outdoor seating area had not been maintained. The deck, table, and seat cushions were coated in grime. The property owner said that spring cleaning had not yet occurred for that unit because the weather was not yet warm enough . It was in the 70's. Night one the hall toilet clogged. No plunger on the property and the owner said neither he nor housekeeping staff were available. He had clog remover and a plunger delivered and we worked to unclog the toilet and when that failed I let him know and he never responded to us prior to checkout 36 hours later. We closed the door and everyone had to use the master bath.

Great location for a small gathering

I rented this property to host a small dinner. Abraham responded quickly to my questions about the property before booking, and just before my stay messaged with a comprehensive set of how-tos. The apartment was spotless when I got in. The kitchen is well-equipped with a coffee maker, french press, toaster, cooking utensils, and bakeware (sheet, muffin tin, 13x9 cake pan). There was a standard set of dining utensils and at least 8 wine glasses. You will need to bring your own bowls and plates if you have more than 2 people.Abraham provided plenty of spare linens for the baths and bedrooms, and also hotel toiletries. There was a hair dryer as well in the second bathroom. One thing to keep in mind is that the master bathroom vanity area did not have a working outlet, or at least I couldn't get it working.The unit is heated and cooled by ceiling hybrid A/C units. I came in the winter, and turned the heat up to max as soon as I checked in at 4. By dinner the condo was comfortably warm. At night I noticed that the floors were a little cold, but I also came on one of the coldest nights of the year.The balcony seemed like a great value add. We did not take advantage as it was snowing, but there's a two-seat bistro table out there that would be great for breakfast in the summer.Overall this was a great experience and I would definitely rent from Abraham again.

Thanksgiving visit

Was a great location close to family I was visiting. It was nice to have a little corner store so close to grab some last -minute forgotten items.The only complaint about the layout of the unit is that there was no mention of the different levels in the unit. It was fine but as we were traveling with our elderly dog some of the stairs were a challenge.I also recommend there be some cleaning supplies for guests. If not a small vacuum cleaner maybe a broom and dust pan and or Swiffers. We truly appreciate the dog friendly unit but would have liked to assist in the dog hair control. Overall a wonderful stay in a quiet neighborhood.

Stay here, but don't hang out.

The property is in a very sweet location, houseboat adjacent and near good coffee and restaurants in the Eastlake area. Right next door to a neighborhood grocery/wine store - always a good thing! However, we didn't feel like hanging out over dinner and wine there. It's not really cozy (don't let the roaring fire in the picture fool you - the fireplace does not work). The beds are comfy, but bring your own pillow if you don't like really firm pillows. It met our needs, for the most part.
