The location is unbeatable if you are coming or leaving by JR train. If you are arriving late or don't feel like traveling out, the mall attached to it has plenty of good restaurants. The check-in staff, housekeeping and every staff you meet in the hotel are impeccable, helpful and detailed. We always spend a few nights at the local JR Tower hotels in the cities we visit.

While individual experiences may vary, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Sapporo. It has consistently provided me with more enjoyable and memorable encounters than any other location in Japan. If you’re staying at the JR Tower hotel, you’ll be greeted with a smile and a hello from friendly staff at every turn. The bellhops in their traditional sharp dressed uniforms, the front desk staff, and even the housekeeping crew are all super helpful and attentive. They’ll hold doors for you, summon elevators, and make sure you have everything you need. It’s like being a feudal lord arriving from a successful conquest! And guess what? It’s even cheaper than the hotels in Shibuya and Akihabara!
