Exquisitely clean; beautiful location

Gorgeous location with a spectacular view. The house was absolutely spotless when we arrived. Kitchen is reasonably well appointed. Lovely, open floorplan upstairs. Two decks, upstairs and down, both offer fantastic views.The road up is very steep and fairly narrow with a couple of tight curves, so be prepared. Not somewhere I'd relish staying in January. Master bedroom upstairs is quite nice. The two downstairs bedrooms are a little spartan but largely comfortable, though the queen mattress in the one sagged quite badly on one side.Regardless, we enjoyed our stay immensely and wish we could have lingered longer. Would definitely return.

Quick Mountain Getaway

Really enjoyed our stay in Sapphire and the cabin was mostly clean. Despite timing our trip with a lot of rainy weather, we enjoyed some local hikes and views of waterfalls. Overall the cabin met our expectations, the bedding, towels and overall appearance were actually really good, but only 4 stars on cleanliness due to some pretty obvious things that probably could have been managed better. I would definitely recommend the cabin and would not hesitate to book again.

Wonderful Retreat for Rest or Recreation

Although we never directly communicated with Dale, we appreciated the owners' thoughtfully provided night lights (high country nights are DARK!), new shower curtain liner & lots of hangers. Drapes/blinds in bedrooms/bathrooms only. Upstairs jacuzzi tub, downstairs shower. Steep approach on paved road, short gravel driveway. Tricky keycode lock on side door; wait for green circle before trying to open/enter. Wait a few minutes to retry if unsuccessful. Sapphire Valley Resort has a clean gym, indoor & outdoor pools, hot tubs. Next time we'll try the boat rentals!

Nice house but needs updates

We enjoyed our stay but we did have a few concerns. There was a musty odor in the house. A dehumidifier is probably needed. There were no hangers and I had brought some ironed blouses. However, the beds and linens were superb. Great location but parking was a little scary. There were two spots with significant drop offs. Also, the pictures show a great Mountain View but that is only during the winter. I should have noticed in the pics. The dining table and couches were excellent. It was a great price for the size but would probably not rent again.

Relaxing sapphire stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely sapphire house. The house is very quiet and we enjoyed sitting on the decks and listening to the quiet. The bath tub in the master with whirlpool jets was relaxing. We will return!

Quiet, peaceful getaway

A 3-day retreat, we enjoyed the serenity of this mountain home while our kids were at camp. The area is beautiful and we spent time in the car driving to Cashiers, Highlands and Brevard to explore these towns. If you are a golfer (we are not), this area is perfect because there are plenty around. As for the Sapphire National Golf Club, the activities area is a short drive down Hwy 64 and not immediately in the area of this house. Not a problem for us because we didn’t use them, but if you have kids and want to utilize those amenities, something to keep in mind.

Mini vacation in the mountains

We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the house, the views and the calm. We did see a pair of bears one night (from inside the house) and we were careful as instructed and locked our cars. GPS is a bit challenged to find the place - only one of the three we had would take us there. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us.

Beautiful view & wonderful view!

I’m so thankful we got to stay at this home! The community is so wonderful & we loved a chance to ski, snow tube & go to the recreation center… there are so many beautiful trails with waterfalls nearby… the house was so clean & the views are wonderful!

Home Away From Home

Our family had the most amazing trip to Sapphire Valley! The house far exceeded our expectations. The fall foliage was peaking and the porch provided the most amazing views. The bedrooms and living room provided plenty of space for four adults and one child. We appreciated the gas grill as well as the washer and dryer. The short hike down Talie’s trail also provided a breathtaking spot to take in the surroundings. The proximity to town and availability to access the amenities at the Sapphire Valley Resort was also a major plus. Our three year old son kept calling it his “magic house”. Thank you for providing a place for our family to create special memories!

4th of July weekend

Such a lovely quiet spot in Sapphire Valley, close to all the great hiking trails. The house is very clean and comfortable with a beautiful deck over looking a pretty Mountain View.

Beautiful and Relaxing getaway

I booked this house for my wife’s birthday. We spent the whole weekend Sapphire. The house exceeded our expectations. The house was so clean and inviting. We loved the huge back decks with the gorgeous Mountain View’s. Everyone enjoyed Tallies trail just steps from the house. My wife really loved the extra touches of the hand written birthday card along with the chocolate and bottle of wine the owners left for her. It was a really great weekend and we would definitely book this house again!

Pure relaxation

This place is heaven. Clean and well maintained. Lots of upgrades and extras. The suggestion of the host of making sure we checked out the private lake was perfect. We had a great time on the paddleboat. Definitely take advantage of the amenities. Will be returning!!

Absolutely beautiful property!

The property was absolutely beautiful. It was very clean and well kept. The views were immaculate. I would definitely recommend this property. The property rental allowed access to the recreation center at Sapphire Valley ski resort. We enjoyed the indoor pool, spa , game room and gym.
