The staff were amazing and friendly, the room was incredible and the location is breathtaking. It's a perfect location for a break from the buzz of a city. The little town of Megalochori is a short walk and beautiful. We ventured into Fira a couple of times and the taxis were about €20-25 from the hotel. A few things reviews told us that were true, and some may not like, is the pool is not heated at all - or it wasn't whilst we were there. The other thing is the pool bar does play music from about mid-morning until evening, which may not be to people's liking. The only, little disappointment we had was with the cleanliness of the pools, which were a little dirty during the week. Not dirty enough to not swim in, but just needed a clean. We would stay here again though. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Amazing experience at the hotel. Very nice and quite apart from the last two nights when it was extremely bad weather so wind was a lot and couldn’t sleep properly plus our room Was on the top floor so maybe that’s why felt more wind. Apart from that very positive experience 😁

Our stay at the Suites of the Gods was wonderful. The highlight has to be the stunning infinity pool overlooking the caldera — photos don’t do it justice. The location couldn’t be more convenient. It’s perfectly situated to explore the entire island — just a short drive to Fira and the black sand beaches — yet still feels private and serene. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and eager to help with recommendations or arrangements, making our stay effortless. We had stayed there the year prior as well and the staff gave us a complimentary room upgrade - which was much appreciated! And, they will arrange for scooters or atvs to be delivered directly to the hotel (quite convenient!) If you’re visiting Santorini and want a mix of luxury, convenience, and unforgettable scenery, the Suites of the Gods is a perfect choice. We can’t wait to come back!

We booked two rooms for the same price and had very different experiences with them—one was spacious and comfortable, while the other was a smaller corner room. That said, both rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered nice views. The overall cleanliness was very good, and we were satisfied with that. Staff service was just okay not bad, but nothing outstanding.

We got a split level suite just for an experience from regular room and it did not fail us. The view from the window is stunning. My husband enjoyed the pool fronting our suite. The only negative we experienced is during the checked in time. Alexandra failed to informed us that our room is ready we have been waiting for 1.5hr. She promised us that she will get us at the pool but never came.

We arrived early in the morning and were grateful we had arranged the hotel shuttle in advance—highly recommended if you’re not renting a car. The drive from the airport was brief, just 10 to 15 minutes, and cost under 25 euros. From the moment we walked through the doors, the warmth of the front desk staff stood out. Andriana, in particular, was incredibly kind and managed to have our room ready by 12:45 p.m.—a gesture we truly appreciated after arriving around 9 a.m. While we waited, we enjoyed breakfast with a stunning view, and spent time in the lobby, it was remarkable to watch how gracefully the front desk team handled each guest’s needs, always with a smile. Their hospitality was genuinely unmatched. Our suite was clean, quiet, and comfortable. In the afternoons, music from the pool area filtered up to our room, sometimes accompanied by a live DJ. While it added to the vibrant atmosphere, it may be something to consider for those traveling with small children or seeking total silence. The pool was pristine and lively in the afternoons, offering a relaxed yet energetic vibe. Transportation around the island was easy to arrange, and the hotel’s drivers were courteous and helpful. That said, because the property is perched on a cliff, rides can become expensive. Thankfully, there’s a convenient bus stop right in front of the hotel. Will stay here again for the breathtaking sunsets!

Property had amazing view and the staff were incredible. We stayed in the presidential suite and while it was beautiful, the shower and tub were both pretty dirty. It was likely aged dirt but definitely needed replacing. Other than that, the stay was wonderful.

Many of the staff members are amazing, the front desk, the drivers, and waitress at dinner. The pool guys are very much ‘you come to us to order’ and pool orders take 35+minutes to arrive. The pool is the best on the island.
