Sea Breeze es nuestro hogar lejos del hogar. Una casa de campo de 3 pisos bien mantenida y encantadora ubicada en la comunidad cerrada hermosa y exuberantemente ajardinada de Calypso Pointe. Tenemos una piscina comunitaria y estamos a poca distancia de la playa. Esta casa de tres pisos cuenta con múltiples porches, electrodomésticos de alta gama, encimeras de granito y mucho más.

En la planta principal encontrará una gran sala de estar, mesa de juego, comedor, una gran cocina totalmente equipada con encimeras de granito y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable. Hay un área de comedor con capacidad para 8, así como otra mesa de juego para acomodar más. Justo afuera de las puertas francesas hay una sala de estar cubierta al aire libre con un televisor de pantalla plana. El patio trasero ofrece un pozo de fuego y parrilla personalizados, tiene muchos asientos y es un entorno maravilloso para las familias.

Esta casa cuenta con 4 habitaciones con literas en el piso principal, una maravillosa suite principal con tocadores dobles y bañera grande en el segundo piso. Hay una habitación de invitados y área de lavandería en el segundo también. El piso superior es un área de visualización tipo loft con paredes con ventanas, otra cama queen y un sofá cama con nido. Hay mucho espacio para que disfrute toda su familia.

Si no está familiarizado con el área de Santa Rosa Beach 30A, es un poco mágico a medida que avanzan las comunidades de playa. Con diecisiete millas de arena blanca y cristalina y agua verde esmeralda. Pocas playas se comparan. Esta casa de playa y esta comunidad de playa es un lugar maravilloso para crear recuerdos familiares con estilo. Family fun!

Nice quiet neighborhood inviting home

This was a nice home that allowed for plenty of room for my family. Very clean and well kept. Just as described. Just an FYI be prepared to bring everything you need for cleaning and any beach equipment or towels. They are not provided. My only complaint didn't have to do with the home but with the beach. There is public access about 5 minutes away but there is only about a 40 foot wide space of access and there was at 100 - 150 people crammed in that space. There are security guards and local beach front home owners that are constantly bullying people to move all their belongings. Even telling people they cant be on the wet sand if in front of their private house. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would probably go back but to a different beach area. Loved that it wasn't in an overly busy area but still close to everything.

Great House in a Great Location

House was clean, spacious and located in a quiet community. Very close to the beach and close to lots of great restaurants and shops of the area. The whole place made us feel at ease and my family and I would definitely come again!

Terrible customer service!

This house was great for the first half of the week. Very nice design, plenty of privacy even for a large family and some recent updates. The management company, however, was a complete nightmare. We were notified that they were going to be installing a new dishwasher (existing one was wonky but still working). After no signs of anyone all day, we figured it was not going to happen. Just before 5pm we were getting ready to cook dinner and a very nice man shows up to replace the dishwasher, closet doors, and new window AC units (several hours of work starting at 5pm?!). He replaced one AC unit and I told him it was not a convenient time for the dishwasher since we were trying to cook dinner. He politely agreed. Little did we know, asking him to leave was a big mistake. The management company called us a few minutes later. We explained that we found this timing to be inappropriate. That’s when they threatened us of “breach of contract” and EVICTION. After a heated discussion, I surrendered to their threats and it took hours for the man to install the dishwasher, finishing around 9:30.The repair man was so nice and trying to just do his job, but the management company’s handling of this was so outrageous.They were more concerned about proving that the contract said they could do this work whenever they want, rather than providing good customer service and compromise. It literally was their way or the highway for our family that night with a Sheriff escort. Unbelievable

Great week at the beach

Our original property had some major deck construction that wasn’t finished in time for our stay. So we were relocated on the day of our arrival to another property in the same complex. It was a little tricky to review the new property and sign the new agreement from the car while already en route but the property company was very accommodating in helping to make sure our stay still happened. (Also pretty sure our new accommodations were more expensive without us having to pay more). Since this VRBO review is probably still going to be associated with the original property that we didn’t stay at, I won’t comment on the house itself (although it was perfect with no issues at all) but will instead simply say kudos to the property mgmt for the good customer service and helping us still have a great week with the kids and extended family!

Vacation 2022

The house is beautiful! The pool was great. Loved the kitchen and all of the pots and pans provided. We enjoyed our stay the beach is a short walk from the house but when you get to the beach access most of it "Private " . There was only a small area for public beach access. It was very crowded! We chose to drive futher down the beach to another public access area.

Nice place to stay

The house itself was very nice and charming and it was only a 5-minute walk to the beach which was very nice!!! The cleanliness of the house upon arrival was not 100%. We were told that certain things would be left in the bathrooms and there was not. There was a lack of hand soap and dish soap etc. Overall it was very pleasant for the nine of us to stay. The property managers were very quick to respond to any concerns or issues that we had and they were addressed very quickly. The pool on site was a very nice feature for when it was too hot or we didn't want to lug all of the kids stuff to the beach it was a nice change of pace. The rooms were very comfortable. The location was perfect and very easy to get to other beach locations and it was just a quick drive to Destin as well. One thing I would recommend for families is to bring a baby gate to block off the steps going upstairs we did not bring one and we constantly had to chase our two year old around to make sure she did not escape up the steps!

Great location, kitchen well supplied and cozy!

We had a great time in our second visit to Destin. Beautiful beach and easy to access. We loved the space of the home (inside & out) & the well stocked kitchen. It was very important to us to be able to cook delicious meals at home. The manager was super accommodating & quick when we brought up some issues (like the need for a safety chain so our little toddler didn’t run out as easily since no deadbolt), I was very impressed & grateful that they put that in within the hour or so from receiving this from us. Furniture could use some updating(esp the shaky bunk beds) but we would definitely stay here again. Again, house was great, location great and great managers.

Nice Place Crowded Area

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was large and the pictures were representative of the property. The booking contact was extremely nice and attentive and a joy to work with. The walk to the beach is a bit strange coming from a boardwalk that exits behind a convenience store. 30A is a very busy road to cross on foot so use caution if you have kids. Local condos were very protective of their beaches and not too much public beach area directly across the street. We rented chairs from a local company and they set us up on a small sliver of beach next to several others that were staying across the street where we were. We were stacked up on top of each other 2 and 3 rows deep most days. The house itself was great, but the beach here and community are just not our cup of tea. There was a day when we went to the pool with our kids and we were lectured by a member of the HOA not to move any of the chairs...which we hadn't....it was an unnecessary conversation but she was letting us know we were only visitors here and not to get too comfortable. The Destin/Santa Rosa Beach area has become so crowded that it makes it tough to get around the area in any decent amount of time. We can say we tried it, but doubt we will return.

Family vacation

We had a great time with everything we needed! It is only a few minutes walk to the beautiful beach. So we spend the day over there and in the evening we enjoyed Barbecue in the garden. Afterwards we were sitting around the the fireplace with our kids. Thank you for everything!

Peaceful and Friendly

Our family had a lovely week at Calypso. It was a very quiet and tranquil area with the beach just a pleasant walk away. The location was incredibly convenient for seeing the local attractions but not touristy at all. We took full advantage of the pool and had a chance to meet several of the residents who were very nice. It was the most relaxing vacation we’ve taken. The house was well supplied with every amenity and having the kids on the first floor was great. We grilled outside a few evenings and the outdoor seating area was perfect. We have told our friends and family how perfect a time it was and we will very likely look to repeat next year.

Exceeded expectations

Our family needed somewhere to gather together that would be relaxing and fun. We came from Hawaii to visit family from various places, including a daughter and her family who recently relocated from Mexico Beach. The amenities allowed for a very comfortable stay. Even the weather was perfect, crisp and cool. We enjoyed walks to the beach, gatherings around the kitchen with great home cooked meals, fun games, and time around the fire pit talking. We had everything we needed. A very important aspect to any stay away is comfortable and clean beds. Everything exceeded expectations. Thank you.

Very nice place conveniently located!

The stay was really great overall. The location is excellent and the amenities in the house are exactly what you would want. The pool and outdoor living area are awesome! The only draw back was that a couple things didn't work and were not fixed during the stay. The outdoor TV that was definitely a perk of staying was not functional the whole week we stayed. The property owner did send someone to look at it but beyond that nothing was done. The ice maker had also failed during the week before our rental so we had no available ice at the house. This issue was not resolved and we had to buy bagged ice for the week. Overall it was a very nice stay and we would go back.

Great Beach House

Sea Breeze was the perfect beach house for our family. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The backyard is a perfect place to hang out with an outdoor TV, fire pit and high end patio furniture. Tom Thumb is a 2 minute walk to get those last second items. The property manager, Brooks, responded very quickly to all of our needs. Nice community pool and a short walk to the beach. I would recommend staying at Sea Breeze.

This property is in a GREAT location nestled in a gated, secluded, and cozy neighborhood with easy access out back to the beach thru a short trail (70 yards) that leads to a convenience store and across Beach Road 30A to a boardwalk leading to the beach. Only a 3 minute walk and you are on the beach. This is the only home in the neighborhood that has this easy access to the beach; so no need to rent a golf cart or load things into a vehicle to go to the beach. There is a beach wagon to carry all the beach chairs, toys, water boards, ice chest, and etc available with the property. The home is clean, well kept, and met all the needs of our party of 8. Out back is great space for relaxing on the porch or enjoying the nice nights by the fire pit and hammock, and taking in the nature environment it provides. It's a paradise out back that most other properties in the area do not have, with great seating. Several bikes are with the property and an outdoor shower head as well. Large driveway for up to 4 vehicles and a small community pool just 3 homes away. A Walmart and Publix are only a few miles away on Hwy 98 where you can stock up on provisions and obtain firewood. Of all the properties we saw while in Santa Rosa Beach and 30A; this was the most desirable property to be (short of staying ON the beach with at a prime cost). Just off the beaten path but quite and secluded. We could hear the surf on some nights and there was no traffic noise from 30A. Before you think about staying in Destin/Sandestin, Watercolor, or Seaside...where there are people everywhere in close proximity; you will want to consider this property first! It provides you the peace and quite you may desire; but yet it's close to all the communities you may want to visit for dinner or shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed this property and will likely revisit it again on subsequent vacations to the area.

Great home in awesome location

We stayed at this home over the Thanksgiving break. It was very clean and exactly as pictured. We really enjoyed the short walk to the beach. Having the path at the rear of the home makes the walk very easy. Our kids loved having a Tom Thumb on the way to the beach. They would get snacks and drinks on the way. We used the fire pit each day which was a lot of fun. The backyard is private and spacious and the outdoor TV was a nice bonus. This was the perfect place for us!
