This peaceful residence is located in a touristic area and features a swimming pool and a direct access to the Garajau beach. It is a private house upon the Atlantic Ocean, where the sea and calmness merge, transmitting a nice peace of mind to all comunity.

We are ready to welcome you on this summer with all Higienic & security measures for Corona Virús, including an isolation apartment on basement level.

The house is 8 minutes drive from downtown Funchal and 15 minutes from the airport.
It is a 7 minutes walking distance from grocery shops, drugstore, ATM, bus stop and many nice restaurants.

Our house have a living room, home cinema, solarium, swimming pool, 03 bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Through a 8m wide window x 6m high, one can contemplate the wonders of the ocean, as well as the beautiful statue of Jesus Christ. The solarium and gardens enable a great merge between indoors and outdoors spaces. The owner of the house shall share all information regarding the island as well as many others that suit the guests upon arrival. And that, to make you as acquainted as possible with the features of the island, including points of interest to which other tourists have no access to.

This house is located in a place with direct access to the beach (natural preserve), through a cable car, and during the trip, you can contemplate all the beauty and environment that surrounds you. There are guests that return to repeat and enjoy the comfort of the house and splendid location, not to mention the pleasures you shall find at the city of Funchal.

A week in paradise …

Outstanding week. Views are iconic and breathtaking. Pool was heated to temperature we requested. Kitchen was clean and modern. Communication with owners was easy. Having a taxi “on call” was also appreciated. The only thing I would add is a dryer or more towels as we were constantly going in and out of either the pool or beach. 5 stars. Would highly recommend.

The house overall is amazing, the views are beautiful, and the house is better than the pictures! We had a wonderful stay overall. There were a few improvements or recommendations to make it a perfect stay. We could not check in until 7:30 PM on the first day of our trip, which was unfortunate, and frustrating after a long day of travel. Also, there were no paper towels, and very little toilet paper to use throughout our stay. We had to purchase these items on our own, For a luxury stay, you would think these would be provided. In addition, a booklet of instructions would be helpful to understand the basics of opening the garage, locking the doors, and the alarm system. We had several questions which easily could have been avoided if there was instructions at the home. Overall, we had a great vacation, and the accommodations were fantastic with a few exceptions. We will definitely be back!

Special property for mums 80th Birthday

What an amazing property with the most fantastic views - perfect part of the island with the little beach below and cable car access The owner was really responsive with messages and very helpful, even helping to organise a birthday cake Had a little trouble with alarms going off when we arrived but it was soon sorted Can highly recommend the restaurant in town called Ferrugem - staff were wonderful Also True Spirit Jeep Tours to the North with off roading and vineyard/winetasting - they even collected us from the house.

Perfect stay

The property was simply stunning with incredible views. We normally stay in 4-5 star properties when traveling. On this trip we had our daughter and her fiancé joining us hence we opted for a villa - it did not disappoint. We all had ample space both indoors and outdoors. Only wish we stayed longer - 5 days was not enough.

A wonderful place. As some reviews say: the pictures don’t do it justice, maybe because it so nicely proportioned the size doesn’t come across. Tucked at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, but a stone’s throw from a gorgeous beach & Cristo Rei. João was quick to answer every message.

Amazon ocean views from a gorgeous house

Beautiful house with breathtaking views! Our group of 6 loved our stay. The common areas are extremely spacious and comfortable. We loved coming home at the end of the day and having a glass of wine on the patio while watchibg the stars shine over the ocean waves. Waking up to see the sunrise through the living room’s glass wall or the pool patio was breathtaking. The owner was extremely responsive to all questions about our stay. Loved it and would love to go back!

This property is AMAZING!! Even better and bigger than it looks in the images. It is huge!! Very comfortable, very high spec.. Staying in this property felt like being on a film set. Very glamorous. Fantastic house with amazing views.

This house is in the most incredible location, it looks out over the Atlantic with the statue of Cristo Rei directly in your line of sight. It is well equipped and feels very secure and safe. The pool was really lovely just the right size for a cooling plunge. The local facilities are really good, a couple of nice cafés, restaurants, a greengrocer, supermarket and a car rental office. We are already talking about when we’re going to return. A huge “thank you” to Jōao for all the info he passed on prior to our visit and for being on call should we have needed his help.

Beautiful House, Bad Experience

Upon arrival, we were very pleased with the accommodation. We had invited our son and his partner to be our guests at the villa as we hadn’t seen our son since his move to Portugal almost a year and a half ago. As the other reviews have described, the house is beautiful, modern and spacious. The view of the ocean and the sunsets from the deck are lovely. Unfortunately, we wound up having a similar experience as some previous guests on this site re. the pool not being heated as advertised. Prior to our arrival we requested through our travel agent that the pool be heated as we were only going to be there for 5 days, and as seniors, my husband and I find a heated pool easier on us. She was assured that the pool would be heated. Unfortunately when we arrived we found that the pool was ice cold. We informed the owner instantly and over the next 5 days, my son dealt with the owner on our behalf. He was told the situation would be rectified and unfortunately it remained cold. After the 2nd or 3rd day, my son did ask the owner whether he would be providing his parents with any money back as we had paid for but not gotten a pool that could be used. As a lovely gesture, or so we thought, the owner had a bottle of wine and a cake sent over. I was pleased and satisfied with that. What soured the experience for us and what was truly unexpected and shocking, was after our departure the owner sent my son an email accusing him of intentionally breaking into the box, supposedly from the moment we arrived, and turning the heater off on a daily basis so we could ask for a “discount”. He felt that there could be no other explanation as to why the heater wouldn’t stay on. I have no words. I am still in shock.

What an amazing villa.warm swimming pool.modern,stylish classy property.the owner João gave us lifts into town with one phone call.he gave us the key to his private bar.put us in touch with Bruno a local taxi who new our exact location and charged us of the meter rate(cheaper than normal),João gave us wine on request.he recommended local restaraunts shops and attractions.you are in a very quiet location but around 10 mins walk to local shops pharmacy and restaurants.raviolli good for lunch.and Fargo’s for an excellent mix grill.10 mind walk to bus stop.you have a very tall flight of stairs to conquer or can walk a longer way round.fantastic views and only 15 min drive to Funchal.joao was an amazing host who was available at any time for any request.sleeep 6 but could accommodate more on request.the property has a separate Amex which sleeps 2 if booked ahead I believe.a wonderful apartment in a wonderful location.if you want your little bit of luxury and quiet relaxing tropical break look no thurther.good for groups of young singles of families.thank you for a wonderful memorable Holliday João we will be back

Modern, spacious with amazing views

We had a lovely week in this house - much of the time spent looking at the panoramic view. João was very helpful when we needed him and communicated well. The property is in a good location for getting around and there is a good variety of shops within a short driving distance.

It was a lovely villa. The weather not so good in June though.

It was a lovely experience. I feel that more communication with the manager just before the trip would’ve been useful but it was fine during and afterwards. More of a reminder of things to do when you arrive. A fantastic Villa, not child friendly though because of the stairs but a great central location. Would highly recommend it for a good break!

Stunning cliff top house, well worth a visit

This house lives up to all the reviews. It’s a fantastic vast palace. The four of us felt a bit lost with so much space. We all loved it however, having the cinema room kept the kids occupied in the evening. The views were stunning and having a heated pool meant that regardless of the weather we were in and out of it lots. It’s perfectly situated overlooking the sea, close enough to Garajau to be able to walk to the shops and only 15 minutes from either Funchal or the airport. The island has loads to offer for all. This beautiful house provided us with the perfect relaxing holiday we were after. We’d love to go back.

Living a Dolce Vita

This is a place you would always wish to visit again. Everything for a perfect holiday is there: a modern spacious house, a magnificent view, quiet area and absolute privacy. We enjoyed breakfast with fresh exotic local fruit outside in the sun on the terrace and a dinner with local seafood in the evening with candle light. My partner absolutely loved this holiday home and I am sure I would not find a better stay in Madeira. The house Located with a walking distance to local attraction, a beautiful monument overlooking the sea. There is a good supermarket nearby, also a walking distance and the capital of Madeira about 10-15 minute drive. I would definitely recommend this place, it is a gem.

Excellent accomodation, very clean. Perfect location, however the villa next door was being renovated and we encountered noise from 9am till 10 pm every day except sundays, I should have been made aware of this before my visit, especially as a baby was in our party, otherwise great choice would recommend

Stunning location & views BUT hospitality needs to be better

Firstly, what a stunning and secure villa with beautiful views of the ocean, with easily accessible beach very close by. We felt safe and the area is lovely and quiet. Having said that, we feel that the hospitality in terms of help should be better considering this is a villa and not AirBnB after-all. Firstly, it would be good to have a starter bag of basics like tea bags, oil, sugar, eggs, bread, washing up liquid etc. as we were not familiar with the area, particularly if you arrive at night as the closest shops are about 20 mins walk away. Secondly, we lost two days of our short break due to the pool being very cold, despite being told it was a heated pool, this is even after a guy came to check the pool on the second day and told us that it would be warm however it remained cold for the remainder of the stay (which was very frustrating as the heated pool was one of the main reasons we booked this place). In addition, nobody came to clean the pool regularly (the pool cleaner turned up just the once on the second day only after we requested that the pool be checked) which was unacceptable as there was a large tree by the pool so many leaves and ants/other bugs were in the pool all week. Lastly, just a suggestion if you want to make a pool more child-friendly perhaps consider adding some softer material or something to the pool edges to avoid accidents such as injuring heads as the pool is relatively narrow compared to other pool sizes. It would be good for these points to be taken on board to improve the villa experience and increase the likelihood of people returning to stay.
