My partner and I loved the beautiful, scenic view . We were literally and figuratively above the clouds! And we loved how the Cerro Verde Park offered free guided hiking tours either around the park to see all the views and beauty or a choice between two longer, more adventurous hiking tours to the top of either the Santa Ana Volcano or the Ixtalquo (sp?) volcano. Just breathtaking views!

Very Disappointing. 1. Sewage smell from the shower. 2. Dripping noices from bathroom pipes. 3. Bathroom missing sink mirror and towels hangers. 4. Bedroom lacks of night table, night lamp, and electrical outlet. 5. Patio door lock broken. 6. No safety box. 7. Amazingly someone decided to place an Emergency Exit Light inside the room, so we had a green glow inside the room all night long. 8. Restaurant Staff Service, bellow average. The only good things were: big room, comfy bed, and breakfast, but this falls very short for a $200 a night rate, even $50 Motels have a mirror in front of the sink, for your basic needs. We read bad reviews, but decided to give it a try, now we know they where right.

The place was not good for my expectations it was humid and they turn all the lights off at night so if you go outside you can’t see anything the volcano is always covered so you can’t see any the food is really expensive and is not good food. They don’t change the bed sheets I really didn’t like it.

Muy buen lugar, exelente vista, muy buen servicio cuartos muy limpios y las camas muy comodas simplemente espectacular. Solo ir preparados por que tienes que pagar la entrada dado que es un parque nacional una vez por dia. Precio depende de la cantidad de personas. Nosotros familia de 4 12 dollares cada dia. Fue algo que no se esperaba pero todo bien.

Excellent location and amazing views. Right in the middle of a world class park. Really stunning. Very clean, comfortable bed, and a good breakfast. Shower was lukewarm and bathroom had a stinky smell but you are at the top of a mountain in the middle of Central America so plumbing issues are not unexpected. I would stay again.

Gorgeous views and excellent service by staff but due to hotel being in a state national park you have to oblige by their opening and closing times which make doing any other activities outside hotel rushed or in a time crunch. This property is fantastic. It is located in the park so the entry and exit times are limited to 8am-8pm but that’s perfectly fine! The view of the volcano is super amazing! The food is wonderful! And the staff is more than attentive! Would highly recommend!
