A Sicily Home Away from Home

Hotel Donna Rosa is a home away from home. My husband and I stayed for three nights and were sad to leave. Carolie treated us like family and we met many wonderful travelers over breakfast. Which is delicious, by the way! The location is steps from the beach and near Taorima as well. We will definitely be back. 🌷

We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Donna Rosa! Everything was absolutely perfect the room was spotless, cozy, and beautifully designed. The location is peaceful and just a short walk to the beach. The breakfast was another highlight: fresh, delicious, and made with care a perfect start to each day. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the staff: incredibly warm, helpful, and professional. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Highly recommended ... we’ll definitely come back!

Very nice people. Good breakfast. Nice location. Excellent price. The bed is old and should be replaced. Bathroom needs an update. Shower head needs to be replaced For a quick night it was good but I would be happy to pay more to have things a little nicer.

Loved everything about Donna Rosa hotel👌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Very nice and friendly family run place. Very helpful in every aspect. The location is also very nice and cozy. What a wonderful stay! The owners are so helpful, the staff friendly, breakfast plentiful and a great driving distance to spend the day in Taormina! We travelled with our 5 month old and they were so accommodating. Grandma Donna Rosa is such a special and kind lady and so loving toward our baby, she has a special place in our hearts!

Coralie was the best host we’ve had during our stay in Italy. She was so kind and helpful. Parking was easy and the main city of Taormina was beautiful. Aside from that, the area around the hotel was convenient and right on the beach. I would highly recommend Hotel Donna Rossa for a lot of reasons but Coralie truly made the stay the absolute best! Thank you!!!

Ottimo hotel qualità/prezzo, con una straordinaria cura e attenzione per il cliente. Lo staff molto gentile e disponibile per risolvere qualsiasi necessità del cliente. Colazione eccezionale, ricca di prodotti fresci e locali. Tanta frutta, salumi, yogurt, succhi di frutta, latte di mandarla, cornetti feschi, ecc. Mia moglie è rimasta esterefatta dalla bontà del cappuccino fatto con latte di mandorla. Insomma soddisfattissimi del servizio e della cura del personale e dei proprietari. Hotel a due minuti dal mare, spiaggia pulitissima e un mare limpido. Trovi sempre dove parcheggiare. Parcheggio gratuito sulla strada. Vi raccomando solo di non andare al ristorante ACCABBANNA, che si trova in zona. Il proprietario ha già i prezzi più cari della zona e inoltre vuole truffarvi ancor di più gonfiando i prezzi. Per esempio un bottiglia d'acqua cl 75, sul listino è Euro 2,50 ma lui poi vi segna Euro 5. Un amaro è Euro 3, na lui poi vi fa pagare Euro 5. Insomna cerca di fregarvi almeno 10 Euro o più. E se glielo fate notare, magari corregge qualcosina accampando scuse. Ristorante da evitare.

Excellent hotel with exceptional staff!

Our stay at the Donna Rosa Hotel was simply fantastic, and we would definitely return. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Sant'Alessio Siculo, just a minute's walk from a beautiful, uncrowded beach with calm waters. It's also a short 15-minute drive away from the vibrant hustle and bustle of Taormina and Savoca village. The staff at the hotel are incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and friendly, which truly enhanced our experience in Sicily. 😊 Our room was spotlessly clean, well-lit, and spacious, offering a partial sea view from the outdoor terrace. Breakfast was delightful, featuring a variety of fruits, cereals, croissants, and more. They even had non-dairy milk, which was perfect for me. For those who prefer not to stay in the midst of bustling tourist areas but still want to be close to various attractions, within walking distance of a lovely beach, and greeted by the hotel's warm and cheerful staff, we highly recommend the Donna Rosa Hotel!
