Getting Around the Area
Cadore (Ciadore in Ladin) is a historical-geographical region of Italy, located in the northern part of the province of Belluno, in Veneto, and to a small extent in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Entirely part of the Eastern Dolomites mountain range, it borders Austria to the north (Tyrol and Carinthia), Trentino-Alto Adige to the west, and Carnia and the province of Pordenone (Friuli-Venezia Giulia) to the east.
8 km from Sappada and Nevelandia, an enchanting place at an altitude of 1,250 meters, far from the hustle and bustle, where you can be captivated by paradisiacal landscapes. Unspoiled nature allows you to listen to the silence of the mountains, breathe in the pure air, and admire the beauty of the authentic natural surroundings
Nevelandia is Sappada’s huge snow playground!
The park spans a large, always-sunny area just a stone’s throw from the town center.
At Nevelandia, the whole family can find something to enjoy, thanks to the tubes runs and the large track dedicated exclusively to bobsledding enthusiasts. There’s also the Kinder Park for the little ones and many other fun activities, such as the mini-bike course.
Inside the park, there is also a convenient dining area.
8 km Val Visdende
Val Visdende, an unspoiled valley in the Dolomites in the northern Veneto region, is one of the last natural oases preserved from mass tourism. The network of mule trails and footpaths that crisscross the valley allows visitors to admire its beauty on walks of varying difficulty—both in summer and winter—as well as on mountain bike excursions.
15 km from Auronzo di Cadore, with its beautiful lake and the Fun Bob
On the lake, you can take canoeing lessons, while in Auronzo and the surrounding area you’ll also find ice skating rinks, riding stables offering horseback riding lessons, and other sports facilities. The Auronzo-Misurina ski area is part of the larger ski resort.
The Fun Bob is the most popular and entertaining summer attraction in Auronzo di Cadore and the crown jewel of the Monte Agudo ski area.
The track starts right next to the top station of the Taiarezze-Malon chairlift, at an elevation of 1,361 m above sea level. Once you’ve climbed into the bob and been secured by the staff at Auronzo d’Inverno, all you have to do is push the lever forward and let the fun begin. The course winds through straightaways, hairpin turns, and spectacular curves along what are ski slopes in winter.

Cortina d’Ampezzo is a ski resort in Northern Italy. It is part of the Dolomiti Superski ski area, which includes the Falzarego Pass with its wide ski runs.
Lake Misurina, also known as the “Pearl of the Dolomites” for its beauty, is the largest natural lake in the Cadore region, located in Misurina, a hamlet of Auronzo di Cadore.
Like a jewel nestled among the UNESCO-designated Dolomites, Lake Misurina lies at 1,756 meters above sea level and is known not only for its enchanting beauty but also for the therapeutic benefits offered by its particularly healthy microclimate.
The Three Peaks of Lavaredo in South Tyrol are the symbol of the Dolomites and a true scenic highlight in the 3 Peaks area of the Dolomites.
