casa del sol is just that; house of the sun

This garden condo is a beautifully sunlit space. The surrounding gardens are magical with brilliant colors and many different varieties of visitors including birds, bees, butterflies etc. So many astoundingly beautiful sites and stunning sunsets. The nearby pueblo of Santo Domingo is not only quaint but easily accessible by walking or cab. It is a nice way to get to know the neighborhood and enjoy the "living life" away from home. Our host was always interested in our well-being and comfort. Don Rodrigo, the host, was nearby and ready to answer questions, offer tips of travel, etc. It was also very nice to have Hotel Bougainvillea and its staff ready to assist with information, travel arrangements, or simply to call a taxi for you. The restaurant and its staff are pretty terrific too. All in all, my husband and I had a very enjoyable two month stay.
