We loved our Mission Beach stay. The house was comfortable and we had everything we needed, with a terrific kitchen that made cooking meals easy. The host was extremely accommodating, and communication throughout our stay was excellent. The location is awesome—between the bay and the ocean. We biked or walked to coffee shops and restaurants and yoga class. Swimming and jogging was fun. It was also a quick drive to La Jolla Park. The airport is nearby which was convenient for travel. Loved the garage, easily fitting our rental car and bikes. We fully recommend this beach house!Trip highlights:•Five-day bike rental from Radd Action Sports. Set up the bike rental before we arrived and they delivered bikes to the house. Excellent bikes and great customer service.•Beach and Bay Bonfires— terrific bonfire service. Fun experience, beautiful sunset and wonderful evening on the beach.•The 25-mile Bayshore Bikeway ride from Imperial Beach. We rented electric bikes from IB Rents, which had excellent bikes and great customer service.•Whale watching tour with Legacy Whale Watch—we saw whales! It was also a terrific bike ride to the departure location.

Nicely appointed space. Kitchen was triumphantly well stocked with dishes and cook ware. Location was perfect to go to either beach or bay. All our trips were within 20 min of this location!! Host was a great communicator and very responsive when we had a hot water issue. Highly recommend this location and host!!

Well the house and its proximity to the beach and restaurants was amazing, but the real star of the show was the wonderful host, Jing. So helpful from start to finish and very nice to communicate with. We will be back to stay in this wonderful property again.

The Perfect Beach House

If you’re reading this review trying to decide if you should rent jings beautiful beach house, do it.. book it right now. Not only is Jing the best host we’ve ever had, their beach home was the cleanest, most stocked house we’ve ever stayed in.. located perfectly between mission bay and mission beach and fully stocked with every Utensil, chair, toy, cart you may need.. garage parking, comfortable beds and A/C.. 7 minute walk to a grocery store, 2 minute walk to restaurants including the best taco shop on mission beach.. we are already planning our next trip to stay in the same home again. Thank You!!!

Outstanding Mission Bay Experience

We found the location to be perfect, so close to both the bay and beach! The house is set up nicely with everything you could need for a wonderful stay. The kitchen is well stocked with any cooking tool you may need and the BBQ outside was available and great to use! Jing, the host, was easy to communicate with and offered and earlier and later check in/out times.

Excellent Stay

The property and location was amazing but what made this stay even more special was the host. There were 11 of us traveling with little ones and they provided everything we could need from beach toys and chairs to pack n plays and high chairs. It made our stay such a breeze. So grateful to have been able to stay here and would highly recommend as one of the best stays we’ve ever booked. Thanks again!

The Gem of San Diego

Perfect moms and daughters weekend!

What a place! We really loved the decor, cleanliness and set up of this home. The location was so convention to walk to the ocean and bay as well as many restaurants. Jing made checking in flawless. This home is Perfect in every way! A true gem and would definitely stay there again!

Adding on to a business meeting

After staying downtown for the first part of the week for a business meeting, my work group wanted to get to the beach. Great location, so many beach towels and chairs etc. great for watching the sunset. Easy walking to the ocean and the bay. Great location. Jing was great to communicate with.

Perfect for a family vacation with young children

Highly recommend this property! The host was excellent with timely detailed communication and was so flexible. The property is so well equipped: everything you need for cooking and serving family meals, all the beach chairs, towels, surf/wave boards and sand toys you could ever need, and enough space for family time together as well as separate bedroom spaces for individual family units. The top floor features the perfect set up for a family with young children - the two special sleeping alcoves for kids are magical! Definitely happy we booked this property. Only note: If you have more than one SUV you will need to use street parking for one vehicle (the garage can only accommodate one). We parked on the street adjacent to Belmont Park (easy 1-mi walk away) because it was free and had no time limits. Lot parking near the house is rather expensive and limited to 2 hours.

Great place in Mission Bay

We stayed here with my children and their children. The layout is perfect for 3 families. When we arrived the host was very accommodating. Baked us cookies, had toys set up for the kids and a pack n play for the baby. Plenty of towels and beach chairs. We will definitely book again.

Perfect home for our annual Girl's Trip

This home was perfect for my annual Girl's Trip. The number of beds and three bathrooms made it very comfortable for the 6 of us and we were impressed with the cleanliness and organization of everything. The location allowed us easy access to SUPing on the bay during the day and then evenings on the Pacific beach. The house is also stocked with beach chairs, towels, and a beach wagon. The owner texted periodically to make sure all was going well. We wish we could have stayed longer! We HIGHLY recommend this home.

Family Staycation

What a beautiful time we had at this residence. It was a treat find coffee, plastic wrap, foil, a LARGE pot for boiling pasta ... everything one would need was provided. We also had everything we needed for the beach - kids' chairs, adult chairs, umbrellas, and a cart to take everything to the beach. I would absolutely recommend this residence, and especially this SUPER HOST, Jing. Thanks for the opportunity to stay at this special place.

Perfect Family Getaway to the Beach!

We had a wonderful stay at this Vrbo property with our family, including my husband, our two little kiddos, grandma, grandpa, and my sister. There was plenty of room for everyone, making it a comfortable home base. The location was perfect—close to both the beach and the bay, which was a huge plus for us. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, including beach towels, sand toys, and a wagon for easy transport. The kitchen had all the plates, silverware, and cooking essentials, allowing us to prepare meals at home without any hassle. Everything was clean, and the bath towels were incredibly soft. The air conditioning and fans kept us cool during our stay. Our host was very attentive and responsive to our needs, ensuring we had a great experience. We can’t wait to come back!
