Tenuta 4 - Apartment with swimming pool

Beautiful farming estate comprising 6 restored units situated on the Chianti hills, a short distance from the village of Mercatale (with general stores) and 22 km from Florence away. This property offers large outdoor areas and a nice panoramic pool with splendid views over the surrounding vineyards (producing excellent wines). All of the apartments provide welcoming interiors furnished in a rustic style. The units Tenuta 1 and 2 are approx. 50 from the pool away while the remaining units are closer. By the pool, guests can enjoy use of a beautiful panoramic terrace with sun-umbrellas and sofas and of a covered area with WI-FI in internet connection (WI-FI internet is also available near the reception, closer the units Tenuta 1 and 2).
The access to the property is via an unpaved road suitable to any car.

Die Gemeindestrasse ist eine Vollkatastrophe

Die Zufahrt als Schotterstraße zu beschreiben ist einfach eine Frechheit. Der Gemeinde ist es anscheinend egal wie die Gäste zum Domizil kommen. Die ersten rund 800m ist es eine reine Schlaglochpiste auf der man nur mit einem echten Geländewagen vorwärts kommt und jeder andere PKW untauglich ist, auch aufgrund der Bodenfreiheit. Schrittgeschwindingkeit ist noch zu schnell. Jeder Feldweg lässt sich besser befahren als dieser Weg. Sobald die Privatstrasse beginnt ist die Zufahrt zur Unterkunft kein Problem. Der Empfang von Anna war sehr herzlich und informativ, es wurde uns die Anlage gezeigt und auch etwas zur Geschichte erzählt. Die Fotos der Ferienwohnung sind leider viel heller als die Realität, unsere gebuchte Wohnung Nr. 4 war aufgrund der kleinen Fenster sehr dunkel. Es tut uns leid für den Vermieter, aber aufgrund der aufgeführten Erlebnisse können wir keine Empfehlung aussprechen und werden auch nicht nochmal kommen.
