The room smelt like smoke and dust, the staff was unavailable and rude, the shower in my room took over 10 minutes to get to the temperature I wanted it to be at (that is NOT an exaggeration), a bee stung me in my room (literally), the tv turned on, but nothing would broadcast from it, and the internet didn’t work… ya, this place sucked.

I requested maintenance 5 times on my toilet that kept filling up every 10 minutes and no one fixed it. I had to shut off the water every night to keep it from waking me up. The first 2 nights I also was woken up by hammering. They kept telling me there was nothing going on, so why was I woken up several times and couldn't fall back asleep. It also woke up my grandson the one night he stayed with me.

For the price of $70 it was a decent hotel. The room was a standard 2 queen bed with a window heat and air, closet, TV , microwave, fridge full bath. The room was a little outdated looking but was expected for the price with older devices. I couldn't get the volume on the TV to work but if you like silent movies its the best. The beds looked clean and made, towels and other things were stocked and well presented. The halls do look run down and needs updating as well as a lingering cigarette 🚬 smell. The only thing that really surprises me was the room doors had a significant gap about 2.5-3in needles to say you can hear everything going on in the hall. People walking by and someone farted twice lol idk the proximity to the door but it was very audible. From my window I could see an enclosed pool and hot tub although I did not use them it looked to be clean. The breakfast was low standard comprised of hot scrambled eggs and round sausage patties. Overall I would stay again. My overall rating is 3 of 5

We were impressed with the room upon check in. We had a cockroach in our room. Had to take everything back to the car with hopes in that small amount of time, cockroaches had not got into bags. We could not sleep after seeing that. I have read several reviews with the same complaint about roaches, etc. This hotel needs to be reported to the Dept of Health or shut down. I did receive our deposit but also requested full refund on the room. Any help with the $71 would be appreciated.

Definitely recommended

My stay was decent. The pool seemed like the skimmer wasn't running, but temp was good. Hot tub was the same. The continental breakfast was great. They did clean the pool at a time when I wanted to swim. Overall a great value for the price.

Good location. Needs major update. But it was clean. The manager was a complete jerk. I have complained directly to Choice Hotels. I do not recommend this hotel. We moved to another two star hotel locally and it was fabulous.

The front desk clerk was very helpful. Even though the property i undergoing a renovation the room was clean and quiet. The sheets were softer than any other hotel I have ever stayed at.
