Overall, very small and limited space in parking lot in a slightly sketchy location. The outside of the building was dirty and somewhat run down. Looks NOTHING like the photos online. They claim to be non smoking however we smelled multiple types of smoke smells in the lobby and hallways. The elevator was the worst part… had to hold our breath each time we got in. Once in our room we noticed the eye hole was covered with a tissue (room clearly not cleaned) and someone broke off a prong in the electrical outlet near the bed. Tv stand was broken and multiple holes and stains on walls. Our sheets and bedding seemed to be cleaned, however the wall and headrest behind it was not. I think the only nice thing to say about this place was the room service lady who came by each day. We will not be booking again.

The room itself was nice enough for the price. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean. The bathroom is very tight even for one person, but two people needing it at the same time doesn't work. My take away from this hotel is that it's a good hotel for a one night stay, maybe two. The furniture and drawer space is very limited which means you really have to live out of your suitcase, thus my opinion that it's a good place to stay if you're passing thru. Good location if you have business to take care of in Salisbury. Very convenient to highways and main roads

The property is in a quiet location. The bed sleeps extremely comfortably. The floors hadn't been mopped at all and the rugs needed to be vacuumed to rid the room of the stale odor. Overall for the price, it wasn't bad.

The front desk staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and the entire building and elevator smelled very fresh. No stale orders or body sweat from workers staying at hotel. Breakfast was very good lots of options and Breakfast lady was lovely and helpful. Very nice stay

When we arrived the rude receptionist did not even look up at me, just barked "ID". I gave him my driver's license and he said "you're local, you have to give me $200 in cash advance." I was not local, I live in Lexington, and the hotel is in Salisbury. He just pointed to a sign that said locals have to pay a $200 in cash only. My daughter and I have traveled extensively and never heard of such a thing; what an outrageous policy. Our entire stay would have only been $180. He wouldn't take my card for the deposit and who walks around with that much cash on them. We came to the hotel beccause I was having surgery the next day and it was close to the hospital. He wouldn't budge so we told him to cancel and we left. This caused a great deal of anxiety and trouble for us of course, and on the eve of surgery! The place looked sketchy, extremely noisy so perhaps we dodged a bullet but it was so outrageous. My daugher asked him, if you don't want locals, does that mean you think everyone here is a crook? He just stared at her and made us sign a cancellation letter and we left. Nowhere on the expedia site nor the hotel site was this policy posted, or we wouldn't have gone there. Don't support this business with their outrageous policy.

Credit card fraud.

When I first got to the hotel, I couldn’t check in because the hotel staff was rude and was telling me that my card was declining suggesting that I didn’t have money, but I didn’t told the staff that if you’re trying to keep my card in, it’s not going to scan. I have a fraud alert on that you have to slide the card. They did instructed me that their credit card machine does not work so I had to find another way to transfer so I could pay for the room
