Quick, simple and friendly check in. Nice size room which was clean and quiet. Also friendly staff in the pub and food was excellent. I’d definitely recommend the Talardy to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

Parking aplenty. Check in smooth Room was nice and clean.plenty of amenities. Room was cold but unable to put heating on. Room was warm at night though. Soap dispensers were a bit old fashioned. Bed a bit to firm for us.

Room clean but decor ‘tired’. Toilet roll holder not securely attached to wall. Main light in bathroom not working. Unable to securely lock room door once inside. Bar closed at 10, despite being told it was open until 11. Ample parking and close to A55.

Poor restaurant service.

Room was large but a bit dated, functional. The evening meal was very disappointing- the service was terrible. No one came to ask if our food was ok, we were forgotten about completely and by the time we asked for service to order dessert, we were told the kitchen was closed! Loss for them. Wouldn’t eat here again if there were other choices.

One night stay for work - Ate in the connected pub , bit of a wait but it was a busy saturday night but the food was spot on. Well presented and lots of flavour. Room was clean , spacious and quiet. Just what we needed.

We normally get rooms in the new lodge, but this time we were given a room in the main building. The room was a good size as was the bathroom and very comfortable. The ony issue was road noise early in the morning which ww never had when we stayed in the lodge. Overall though a very pleasant stay as usual.

Short stay

Room was good. Service was ok but not enough staff. Evening meal (mixed grill) was ok at best. Breakfast, (continental ) was missing many items. Big fried breakfast was missing items. Coffee machine was problematic. Ate elswhere after 1st night.

Very stressfull couple of nights at the talardy

3 rd time staying at talardy and very disapointed this time . Room needed a good clean dust on skirting boards all the way round room on floor on top of cupboards bath was dirty upon arriving in room .bed was the most uncomfortable ive had the pleasure of teying to sleep on . Massive spot light outside window on all.night lite up room even with blackput curtains . Constant drone of a generator running all night. This was our 3rd vistit and probably our last. Usually very good but not on this occasion.

The room was clean but out of date with a shower over the bath.Because of my age I was not able to use as getting in or out of it was not easy also no bath mat supplied.The door key card stopped working after a day which meant going back down to the reception to have it sorted.The room was very warm and we were unable to open a window,a fan was in the room but very noisy,couldn’t sleep with it on.

Good location for visiting family. Room clean. Good price. Easy check in but no one around when checking out. Rang bell so left room card on desk. Breakfast ok. No orange juice or white bread and no staff to ask. Would stay again as good price and out of way if heavy tourist area.
