Absolutely amazing! The nostalgia of the whole place from views, to decor, to necessities have its own personal vibe! The thought that has gone into this place did not go unnoticed! Perfect location right on the water. It is about 15 minutes away from most things, but the drives in the area are all so scenic, its very enjoyable. We enjoyed visits to the Mid-America Science Museum (a must-see if you have kids) and Lake Catherine State Park for some hiking. We also got to enjoy a few local restaurants including Burgers & More, Fisherman's Warf, and Sunshines Store & Cafe - a close to the rental breakfast spot! The rental itself had the coolest vibes and was perfectly decorated with all the amenities you might need. The retro radio in the kitchen not only works but fills the whole home with music. The moment I pressed the button, my vacation mood was set. We cooked and danced in the kitchen, grilled outside, watched the waves and made a fire by the lake. We even spotted some wild deer next door to the property!Birdwatching (and lake watching) in the morning with my coffee while the family slept in was absolute perfection. Couldn't have asked for a better week.
