Wonderful Home, Some Disappointments
The house was clean and located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The beds were fine, and the space matched the listing in terms of layout and general condition.Unfortunately, there were several issues that impacted our stay. The pool had significant algae buildup and was unusable, which was a major disappointment. Another major drawback that affected our stay was minimal drapes in one of the bedrooms. With large windows, there was very little privacy – especially concerning at night with neighboring property next door. In the morning, sunlight flooded the room extremely early, making it difficult to sleep in or feel fully rested. The kitchen was minimally equipped, and the televisions were not user-friendly. We also found the outside garbage can already half full when we arrived, which left limited space for our own trash. We reached out to the host about these concerns multiple times —including a request for the garage door code—but received no response during our stay. The lack of communication made it difficult to address these problems.This property has potential, but better maintenance, clearer instructions, and more responsive hosting would go a long way in improving the guest experience.
