The buffet breakfast (included in the price), was outstanding. The equal of any to be found in more expensive hotels.
The staff were exceptional. Several were seen over the 2 days, but all were very polite and went out of their way to be helpful.
The room was clean, with a large super-king bed and a good en-suite bathroom.
Dislikes:
The carpets in the bedroom corridors on level 3 have seen better days.
The on-off controls on the shower in room 350 were difficult to move with wet hands. Also the shower tray did not drain properly, leaving a small pool of water on the vinyl floor covering, which required mopping up to avoid it becoming a slip hazard.
We stayed for 2 nights and noted that the room was not made-up between sleeps. This was not an issue for us, and perhaps it is standard practice these days - we don't usually stay in hotels for multiple nights.
I don't usually complete questionnaires to rate purchases, but I felt that this hotel exceeded our expectations and deserves some recognition.
