This hotel is terrible! There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom(how is this up to code?) so when you shower the whole room fills up with steam and fogs the window. There is mold growing up the window seal and in the shower. There is no curtain to close to block out light from outside. The room reeks of stale beer and cat urine. This is a health hazard! I took pictures of all that I describe and will be contacting the Illinois state health department. I want a refund as the website is not how it was described. The owner of this place should be ashamed! I always stay at Comfort Suites everywhere I travel and have never been to one like this. Utterly disgusting.

A little off the highway, but the best in town

The lobby, the halls, the elevator, the room and especially the bathroom were a very clean and well kept. Although the approach to the front door was on the back side of the building, and the area see the little sketchy, once you get inside it was a perfect place to stay the night. The breakfast in the morning was properly done and tasted good.

I checked in very late from a long drive. The front desk staff were very friendly. The hotel was convenient to shopping etc. However, the hotel is older and shows it. Room was extremely small, although overall appeared fairly clean, other than the carpets, which were stained. The worst part was the pillows.. they were old and smelled like sweat. I had to throw them off the bed and use my sweater as a pillow. Would I stay again? No especially at what I paid.
