There were a lot of positive things about this VRBO, but some problems. First the positives: location is excellent, right on the beach and an easy walk to diving, snorkeling and restaurants. Access to the beach is from a side corridor that is clean There is 24/7 security who are friendly and helpful. The views and sunsets are stunning Furniture is comfortable. It really served our needs well for a family of 8. Now not-so-positives: The place is getting a bit dated and could use a refresher. The BBQ is rusty but usable. The kitchen knives were all dull. The cookware is a mismatch of pots, pans, and lids. We had problems with wifii reception in the bedrooms, which was fixed when we complained. The dishwasher broke and they repaired it once, then it broke again and they replaced it. The fridge broke 3 times, and they repaired it 3 times, but not before our food was spoiled. In fairness, the onsite manager was very responsive to theses maintenance issues. She replaced some spoiled chicken and provided a small bottle of rum for the inconvenience. When we suggested a one night refund on our 21-night stay (given the number of deficiencies in what was a very expensive rental) we were advised by the o manager that the owner's willingness to do this was dependent on us providing a 5 star review. When we said that the two issues were unrelated, we did not hear back from them, and no refund was forthcoming. Left a bad taste in what was otherwise a good holiday.
