La maison est très confortable et très bien équipée.Elle offre beaucoup d’espace et une agréable décoration.Le paysage des alentours est vraiment magnifique , champs d’oliviers à perte de vue..Seule l’arrivée en voiture est difficile, le chemin étant vraiment très abîmé.Toute la famille a été enthousiasmée par le séjour dans cette maison.

I don’t even know where to start. This property is absolutely gorgeous! From start to finish, the entire experience was outstanding. Our host Paolo was so helpful prior to us arriving anytime I had a question he responded immediately to me. Upon arrival, our drivers Fabrizio and Brando are so kind so helpful. Our house manager, Guilia was also a pleasure to work with and very helpful. We had one of our guest get sick and she was able to call a doctor Who came to the house and examined him. On top of that our driver Fabrizio came back and took my husband and friend to the pharmacy, they went above and beyond! We had the pizza party, breakfast each morning and a formal dinner on her last night. Our chef Thomas couldn’t have been nicer friendlier. The food was prepared amazingly every day formal table settings for every meal we all were just overwhelmed the villa itself spectacular! The location, the grounds, the pool! I would recommend it to absolutely anyone!

Easy to find and great communication throughout. A bit confused on the amenities (thought there was a sauna but no). However they was a game room and billboards room. Was able to fit 3 or more cars on property. The beds were comfortable. There was so much space and extra seating areas. As a party of 12, we were able to fit in ever dinner room. The cleaning staff came every morning which was nice since it rained and we tracked in dirt and water. The grocery goodies was a nice surprise and we throughly enjoyed them. Guilia was wonderful and super helpful. We actually saw a deer from the villa.

Family Anniversary Trip

The villa was wonderful for our family of 13. Paulo was very attentive to our many questions leading up to the trip . We were very glad that we made use of the daily breakfast . The food was wonderful . It was nice to have breakfast before we headed out for the day. We all enjoyed the pizza party, the kids enjoyed rolling their dough and cooking their pizza in a wood burning oven. We had an amazing experience

Villa of Our Dreams

We chose to celebrate our wedding here, and could not have picked a better spot in Tuscany. Paolo did an amazing job of getting everything sorted for the wedding, and Giulia helped keep everything organized throughout the stay! We had delicious food prepared by great chefs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, that it was hard to compare to for the rest of our trip! Everything was taken care of even when we had a last minute change with rides and the weather. Would easily recommend and stay again when taking a trip to the beautiful Tuscan countryside.

Dream team at the Dream Villa

Villa Il Forte is the most incredible setting. It is an incredible historic and luxurious home while being comfortable, spacious and accommodating. Many different spaces to relax, connect and play. Paolo’s team were absolutely amazing. The chef Thomas is so talented while also being wonderfully personable and fun. The driver Fabrizio was so generous and thoughtful. His guides were knowledgeable and friendly. I have already booked it for next year! I can’t wait to go back!

Our issues

The villa was very nice, but the path to get to the villa is very poorly maintained. Also, during our stay the roof leaked into one of the bedrooms and the heating system was not set up for cold weather yet..

Tuscany Villa

Wonderful place to stay with couples who want to tour Tuscany. Beautiful setting, well maintained, super nice hosts. Navigating Italian roads and many stairs must be kept in mind. We had a great trip!

Beautiful Villa in Tuscany

Great experience all around. Paulo, Nicoletta, and Giulla were all very helpful. Pool has incredible view. Car needed to stay here. Daily cleaning was a nice bonus, plus the hosts had quite a bit of snacks/food/wine for us when we arrived. Highly recommend this beautiful villa for a large group.

Perfect for a family holiday

The villa was exactly as described, with lots of room for all the family to spread out. The owner, manager and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely breakfasts and evening meals cooked by the chef, who catered for our various dietary requirements. Can thoroughly recommend.

Fabulous family vacation

What a beautiful villa in such a wonderful setting. So spacious for our family of 14, ranging from ages 6-80. It was a hot week but the villa stayed cool and the pool was a godsend. Thank you to Guilia and Nicoletta (house managers) who were attentive to anything we needed and to the chefs who hosted a cooking lesson for the whole family (a real highlight), a brick oven pizza night and other delicious meals. We drove to and visited Castellina in Chianti, Florence, Siena and Arezzo (4 families each had their own car). The villa gave us many opportunities to enjoy each other. We gathered for dinners, we swam, we used the game room, played ping pong and pool. We will never forget this week.

Impressive Tuscan Villa, good for a big group

This is a very comfortable villa in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. Each bedroom has a bath, each is beautiful, unique and comfortable. You can see the details in the vrbo photos. Villa is just as shown, if not better. Although I hesitate to speak for the entire group, I do think we had some similar opinions: first, we secured the offered breakfast for our first day only. We loved that breakfast, and Thomas and Mila who came to take care of it all! We knew immediately that we would gladly have breakfast each day, but they were already busy and could not come back, could not then fit us in. So, if you are leaning toward food or activities to order, I think our advice would be "do it, you won't be sorry!" We also ordered pizza party and cooking lesson. These were such fun, with Thomas and Mila as well. Our group ranged from 9 to 12 people, depending, and we stayed for 2 weeks. We had rented a few cars and we all thought Florence would be a little easier to access, since it was so close, than it actually was. So dropping in to town for a little something or another was not possible. Paolo, our contact within vrbo, fielded every question quickly and accurately. He and property manager Giulia also helped us obtain medical help for a fall one of us had, quickly and effectively. Thanks to all of the lovely individuals we met! They and the beautiful villa made our stay so special.

Wunderbares Resort

Der Anlass war ein Familienfest, welches in dieser Umgebung dieser ausserordenlich geschmackvoll und wunderschönen Villa ein besonderes Erlebnis war. Die Villa ist hervorragend restauriert, eingebettet und eine typisch toskanische Landschaft. Sämtliche Räume sind stilvoll eingerichtet, die Bäder absolut modern und in bester Verfassung. Höhepunkte sind neben den grosszügig gestalteten einzelnen Übernachtungszimmern mit Bad die wunderbaren Gemeinschaftsräume, insbesondere der Salon, der grosszügige Essraum mit einem langen Tisch, der gesonderte Frühstücksraum und die mit allen Besonderheiten ausgestattete Küche. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Alle Räume sind und waren stets extrem gepflegt, sauber und aufgeräumt. Für musikalische Aufführungen stand ein Klavier zur Verfügung, was von unseren "Pianisten" reichlich genutzt werden konnte. Eine Besonderheit ist die Vermittlung eines Kochteams, welches uns mit wunderbaren Toskanischen Gerichten verzückt haben. Es waren wunderbare Tage, die das zum Teil bedeckte und regnerische Wetter haben komplett vergessen lassen. Wanderungen in der nahen Umgebung, Ausflüge in das Kulturreich von Florenz, aber auch lokale Sportmöglichkeiten (zB Schwimmen im Pool bei ca 15 Grad !!) haben die Zeit extrem kurzweilig gestaltet. Alle waren uneingeschränkt glücklich und zufrieden, wir haben das Familienfest in vollen Zügen genossen. Diese Wahl ist nur zu empfehlen !!!!!!

Ideal Thanksgiving Stay

Our group consisted of 2 families with 13 total. The villa was roomy, well equipped with the spaces and activities to keep everyone happy and occupied with the pool table, ping pong, games etc. It is beautiful as are the surroundings. The booking process was smooth and working with Paolo and Giulia was easy for booking breakfasts, cooking classes, our Thanksgiving dinner, and vine tastings. Tomas and Maria prepared and presented delicious and authentic meals. The daily cleaning service was an additional bonus. Highly recommend and hope to someday return.

Tuscany Getaway

My family, friends and I stayed for 2 weeks and it was the perfect place. The views from the infinity pool are incredible. The house was extremely clean and cleaners came everyday to clean the house and make the beds. The beds are very comfortable and every bedroom has their own bathroom. Paolo was incredibly helpful planning everything and Giulia, the onsite coordinator, was very responsive and helpful while we were there. I would absolutely go back and stay there again every year if we could find the time. One thing worth noting, I highly recommend renting a car during your stay because the villa is a bit outside of the nearest town and walking to it would not only be a long walk, but a dangerous one too along the windy, narrow road. I give this villa a 10 out of 10!!

Birthday Getaway i

Where do I begin! We booked this property over a year ago for a birthday trip with friends and family. The house comfortably fit 16ppl and had everything we needed for our week long stay. The house was clean and truly accomodated our every need. Paolo and Guilia are incredible - I sent them no less than 100 emails ahead of our arrival and they swifty responded to each one. They helped coordinate our overall plan, secure villa dining, breakfast and trasnfers. Fabrizio (transfer vendor) was incredile - they were on time for everything and cars with space for our group. We had two villa dinners, pizza party and breakfast every morning. Tomas should be essential to your stay. We were so sad to leave, but hope to be back one day!

Magical Stay in Tuscany!

We had a magical stay at Villa II Forte from start to finish, dreaming of when we can return. Paolo was very responsive and welcoming from the beginning of our booking process and helped us arrange a chef, airport transfers, and groceries. Once we arrived, Giulia welcomed us with open arms and was so very helpful and responsive! Chefs Thomas and Mila felt like family by the end of the trip. The villa was well equipped with everything we could possibly need and the rooms were clean and updated beautifully. Highly recommend this beautiful villa and a visit to its neighboring winery - Torre a Cona - for a tour and tasting. Thank you Paolo, Giulia, Thomas and Mila!

What you imagine Tuscany would be

Beautiful place, what you imagine Tuscany would be. Huge house. The Chef arrangement was a little unclear we ended up using her one night as it was on the expensive side. Really enjoyed our stay highly recommended.

Beautiful Property In Tuscany

We had 6 couples stay at this wonderful property for 4 days in Tuscany. The property was about 30 mins outside Florence so we spent 2 days in Florence and 2 days touring wine country in Tuscany. The villa was very nice and Paolo helped us organize a chef for multiple breakfasts and 2 dinners. Paolo also helped us organize transfers to and from Florence multiple days and transfers for 2 tours in Tuscany. The chef Thomas was a highlight of our stay. His food was fantastic. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone with a large group.

Rural beauty

Excellent communication from our initial booking to leaving the villa. The villa is beautiful with outstanding views across the Tuscan countryside. It is however, very remote - about 1km from the main road down a very bumpy track, Ideal for total relaxation but you will need a car or use the driver (Fabrizio who was fabulous) to visit supermarkets, restaurants, wine tasting or to explore the centre of Florence. We booked Laura the chef to cook for us a couple of evenings which was excellent and such a treat. Great local dishes and cooking lessons available on request. Although we were unable to use the pool due to cold weather, it was great to sit outside for lunch or a glass of two of wine. The villa is very well equipped and offers enough space for a family or large group to spread out and come together to enjoy meals. The pool table was a big hit with all from ages 19 - 82. The stone stairs are fairly steep but there is a downstairs bedroom for anyone with mobility issues. I will add the beds are extremely comfortable. Overall a wonderful villa with caring hosts. We would definitely like to stay again.

Beautiful property

This was a wonderful experience! The property manager was a delight to work with. It was easy to communicate with him! We used Thomas, the chef and he was fabulous! He was always eager to please. The property was located about 45 minutes from Florence.

Absolutely beautiful property

The listing and the photos looked great - and when we arrived it was EVEN better than we imagined. This is a beautiful property and Paolo is a wonderful and hospitable host. The whole process was easy and friendly and responsive and our stay was absolutely perfect. Thank you!
