Perfect spot

The bungalow was well kept & the front garden was lovely. It was just out of the centre of Rhosneigr but only a 5 minute to the beach & everything was close enough to walk too. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful

We have stayed here several times and it never disappoints. Spacious, light, well designed and everything you need is provided, including a welcome pack. It is so close to the beach and the sunsets views from the lounge window are amazing. The Blue Olive restaurant is a must and the local shops are good. It is a lovely place and highly recommended

very clean and very comfortable

Fantastic location with wonderful views of the bay to the front of the bungalow and the inland lake and Snowdonia at the back. Very pleased. Unfortunately for us we had to leave 2 days early as our dachsund dog sustained a back injury and we booked an emergency appointment with our own vet. Hope to return soon to make up for our lost time.

Our favourite place in the UK

We’ve just come home after our third stay at Faraway and - as always - wished we hadn’t had to leave. It is a stunning bungalow, situated a stones throw from the beautiful Rhosneigr beach and RAF valley runway. The town has all the amenities you could wish for and some lovely shops. It is hands down our favourite place to holiday in the UK and has become a family tradition to visit. I just wish we’d found it sooner! As always Anglesey Holiday Lettings were on hand to promptly deal with any questions / help needed. Thank you Anglesey Holiday Lettings and Faraway for another magical family holiday x

Perfect holiday base

We spent a highly enjoyable week in Fararway The bungalow was clean spacious and comfortable The location allows some views of the sea and easy access to the beach and to the centre of Rhosneigr Perfect base for a holiday in North Wales

Wonderful

Dorothy and I enjoyed our stay at Faraway immensely. A good location within 5 minutes walking distance to the beach. The accommodation suited our needs perfectly in a quiet neighbourhood and the welcome pack was much appreciated. All in all a 5 star experience. We have already booked a return visit. Finally whilst we did receive details online regarding check out it would be helpful if this was also included in the Information Booklet found at the property.

A wonderful family holiday!( Second time)

Thanks to the fabulous weather in August our second time at Faraway was even better than our first occasion which was at October half term in 2023 (when it rained) but honestly the accommodation is so good that you can't help but enjoy yourself! Everything was first class. There was a hitch with the fridge freezer,defrosting on our arrival,but it was cleared up very efficiently by the housekeeping service. The owners of the property are to be commended on the high standard of all the amenities. It's a perfect family holiday let. Thank you!

Perfect Stay

The property was perfectly situated for all amenities in the village. Lovely position to enjoy sitting and watching the sunset. Great that the property is dog friendly. Well presented property would definitely return or recommend.

Sunset to sunrise

This property has everything you need. On site parking. Close to amenities. Peaceful area. Short walk to the beautiful beach, local shops, Oyster Catcher, local fish and chips shop, pizza , Surf cafe, local cafe, ice cream shop. Watch the Sunset over the sea from the lounge. Beautiful views of Snowdonia, and the nearby lake from the patio doors. Choice of outside seating.

2nd visit

This is our 2nd visit to Faraway. This year there were a few changes/renewals which we appreciated. We could not fault anything about the property or the location. The only issue we had was that the washing machine broke mid cycle. A call to Anglesey letting and the next morning an engineer arrived and sorted out the problem, he was really efficient and friendly. The house is spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. Lovely walks in the vicinity and we especially enjoyed our evening walks around the lake. We love this house so much that we have rebooked for next year.

Family trip

Myself, partner, son, granddaughter and dog, enjoyed a wonderful 4 night break in faraway. The place was spotless, kitchen well equipped, fenced off area for the dog and comfy beds. Short walk to beach, shops, pubs/ restaurants and many lovely walks straight from the house. Would definitely stay again. The only one tiny negative was there wasn't a shaver plug for our electric toothbrushes.

Excellent stay at Faraway

We had a lovely stay at Faraway - our second time we had booked and immediately booked again for next year. We have been holidaying in Rhosneigr for over 50 years and my children are fourth generation so its a very special place to my family. Faraway is a very light, clean house and plenty of space for all the family. The views are gorgeous - sea view on one side and the mountains on the other. The garden is a great entertaining space and the terrace is a lovely area off the kitchen which gets the morning sun. Beds are really comfy too!! One point I would like to mention - there are very few small water glasses and no water jugs. Perhaps these can be additions for next year. Thank you.

We loved staying at Faraway. It was perfect for our family with the garden for the children and My Morher In Law loved the conservatory and a great location. We just felt it could of been a bit cleaner!

FARAWAY

Spent four nights at Faraway.Had a lovely break away. Place very clean,comfortable bed and everything you need. Open plan as doors missing on lounge,wondered if it would be cold in winter. Very convenient to beach ,local shops and restaurants. Garden enclosed and ideal for dog.

Splendid faraway bungalow

This is the second time we have stayed in ‘Faraway’ . Immaculately kept bungalow which has all you need for a happy stay. Lots of space so you are not on top of each other and a well equipped kitchen. 5 minutes walk to main beach , a little further to broad beach. Walking distance to village facilities.

Superb two weeks in our special place

We had a wonderful stay at Faraway. Lots of space, very comfortable, light and clean. Slight problem with the washing machine but Anglesey Holiday Lettings sent someone to fix the problem immediately. Such great service. It was so good that we have booked again!! The only complaint was we could not find the vegetable peeler!!

A pleasant stay

Lovely stay in a great location. Well equipped with very comfy beds. Not a very private garden but still functional and safe for our little dog. Easy walk to the beach and shops/pubs/cafés. Single level was great for my elderly parents. Only a couple of steps to contend with. A polite suggestion of a handrail at both entrances would have made this more easily accessible for them though as would a non slip mat for both showers. A pleasant enough stay once I'd hoovered all the visible dust/cob webs. I feel the bathroom shower grouting and sealant could be a little fresher looking, not terrible by any means but could be easily remedied with a spray of mold and mildew cleaning spray. Everything very clean otherwise. Thank you.

Faraway Holiday

Anglesey is just beautiful, always able to visit new places each time we visit. Faraway was in a quiet, but perfect location, only a 10 minute walk to the shops and beaches. Seeing the RAF jerts flying over us each day was amazing as were the sunsets you could see down the road towards the beach. Amenities within the house were good, esp the ninja air fryer, we were converted & bought one when we got home! The only issue we had was with the bed in the main bedroom, very springy and squeaked every time one of you moved, disturbing sleep but otherwise a perfect stay, thank you Anglesey holiday Lettings

A Lovely stay at Faraway

We felt comfortable the moment we walked through the door. So bright and airy and lots of space. Grandparents enjoyed sitting in the warm conservatory, parents enjoyed the large living room and children loved the spacious garden. We all enjoyed sitting on the patio in the sun at the end of a beach day. Lovely, quiet location but able to walk to both beaches, the lake and the shops/restaurants. We loved watching the sunsets at the end of the day. Had everything we needed, warm showers and comfy beds. What more could you want ...
