The hotel was lovely. Reception called us when our room was ready since we arrived early which was appreciated. The hotel is modern, well cared for and clean. The view from the sea-view balcony was wonderful. Our room was spacious with lots of counter space and room for our luggage and clothes. The bathroom was super clean and plenty of counter space as well. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a kettle and mini fridge. The mugs provided were large; a simple thing but it makes a difference. We had great customer service from the young woman at the front desk who arranged our rental car; the hotel is owned by a travel agency and they have their own car rental so the car was at the front door for us the next morning and we only needed to provide a US driver's license. No paperwork, just $30 Euros for the day. When we returned that night, the front desk clerk was equally helpful and so we turned the car in to him right then. At this point the front desk staff had been very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options.
NOTE: You must book from a booking site; this hotel does not allow for walk-ins. We needed to stay an extra day due to the ferry schedule so I asked the front desk to extend our stay. Nope, she said I'd have to use a booking site. I asked for help. Nope, she said she couldn't help me. I was unable to find a room. We left and I booked with another hotel. I was so disappointed; an uncaring front desk clerk just ruined a wonderful stay
