Excellent location and very helpful staff. We ended up needing to add a night to our stay and the hotel was extremely accommodating and even made changes so we did not have to change rooms for our extra night. Only downside was the water in the room had a sulfur smell / taste to it which was unexpected.

Great hotel for the price. I don’t understand why room 408’s ceiling is right on top of your head. There needs to be more room. It’s like an attic with a bed. My husband and I aren’t picky and like a good hotel for a reasonable price, but room 408 should be storage for them not a room. The shower is interesting too. Since the floor gets all wet since there’s no separation between the bathroom and shower. Nice central hotel.

Great location. Very convenient to bus stop #8 for tour pick ups. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a nice bonus with a good selection. They also have tea, coffee, and hot chocolate available all day. There is a room for luggage storage if needed. Only negative was bathroom size was very small. I definitely recommend this hotel.

We only stayed for one night and we had a church view. The location is great, the staff is very nice. However, that bathroom reminded me of being on a cruise ship. It was also the only place I took a shower where the water smelled like sulfur. I wouldn’t stay here again. There are much better places in Reykjavik.
