Fantastic stay here recently. Staff was so friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect - great view from our balcony over the port and easy walk to loads of restaurants and bars and to the Old Town. Would definitely book again!

Great stay! This beautiful boutique hotel was in a prime location between the beaches and old town with everything you could want in walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay at Savus, the property was exactly what we needed, clean, high quality, and great location right next to the beach and tons of restaurants! Beautiful Hotel with very nice and friendly staff.

We‘ve enjoyed our vacation at this Hotel very much. It has a great location right across the Harbor. We had a beautiful view from our balcony over the Harbor and the City of Rethymnon and the old Fortress. We also enjoyed the whirlpool on our balcony.

Fantastic stay at Savus!

I can’t praise this place enough. Fantastic location, fantastic staff, fantastic rooms, and fantastic food. The staff are some of the kindest and most service-minded I’ve ever encountered, they made the stay an absolute pleasure. The rooms are modern and beautiful, the cleanliness was outstanding and the breakfast was amazing. If I ever return to Crete, this will be the place I stay. 100%.

Nicely located near the port and old Rethimno town. Friendly and accommodating staff. The breakfast included many items and even the jams and breakfast bars were homemade. Something we learned (after the fact) is that you can control electronically your wishes for privacy (i.e., cleaning of room, etc.) by pressing certain buttons. Make sure that you understand how everything works at check in! Very nice stay overall!

Wonderful, modern and clean boutique hotel

Very modern, clean, small hotel with a wonderful location just 10 mins from the center. The staff is so friendly and helpful! Paid parking available across the street at the marina, free parking further away. The room had everything. The view of the harbor is gorgeous. Great location to access various beaches to the south but you can also walk to the beaches of Rethymno in 5 mins. I would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at Savus. Check-in was seamless with a warm welcome and refreshing lemonade, the bed was very comfortable, and water was replenished daily. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of variety and made-to-order eggs. The hotel has an elevator in the back (so no need to worry about stairs with luggage), and the location is unbeatable—right across from the marina, steps to the beach, and walking distance to old town shops and restaurants. Savus was the perfect home base for exploring Rethymno—we actually preferred it to Chania. Highly recommend.

Savus is a very nice place in front of the sea, close to the old town and restaurants. The hotel is very clean and well equipped. Rooms are comfortable and well presented. The staff is very kind and helpful. Excellent breakfast is served every morning with a different egg plate each day. You can enjoy it with a view on the sea. We totally recommend.

Demitris is an exceptional reception staff! He made our stay incredible with his warm smile, attentiveness and enthusiasm! The place is very modern and clean. We got upgraded to a suit and it was absolutely amazing! My sons had their regular room, but that was also very nice! There is no parking, but you really don’t need one here as you are within walking about 4-8 mins distance to all the amazing restaurants and shops! The view from this hotel is exceptional!

The NICEST place we stayed at in Crete! We stayed in the Superior Room with a private hot tub on the balcony, and it was LUXURIOUS. An INCREDIBLE unobstructed view, only matched by the shared view from the breakfast area in the lobby as you enter Savus. But what really made our stay incredible was Dimitris, who greeted us at check-in and worked at the front desk in the evenings. Such a warm, funny and delightful person to chat with - he walked us through every element of our room, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We only wish we could've stayed longer!

We stayed for 7 nights in a clean, modern hotel, with very helpful and friendly staff. The breakfasts were served overlooking the harbour. The hotel was situated halfway between the old town and the magnificent beach. This is one of the best hotels that my wife and I have stayed in. At breakfast there was a different egg option every day. There were only 15 rooms and so the staff were able to give individual attention to their guests. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
