The house is pet friendly so make sure if you have allergies to bring your medicine. The master bedroom smelled like animals covered up by febreeze, but everything was very clean—just very minimal. When we booked we were pretty sure the description stated that it was lake front; but it was not. We had a sloped access to a small creek, but wasn’t sure if we could hike down to it. The only T.V. Is located in the Living room. The tub has railings for elderly/medical purposes. I really like the touch of a mini Hersheys bar being left with a cute note and some feminine supplies. It would have been awesome to have some hot chocolate, apple cider, or Tea bags in addition to the k-cups that were left. I was in Redding for a medical procedure and it would have been nice to have a check out time later than 10:00. Overall a nice place to stay.
