This is an old worn out hotel. The floors are dirty and carpet in the rooms are disgusting The hallways have a strange and unpleasant smell. 2 of the 4 mornings I didn't have hot water. Good news, the bed was comfortable and the location is great.

It does not provide WIFI as promised because WIFI license has expired and pose serious security problem. Arrived on Friday afternoon around 4 pm, the office is closed and no check in service. Intercom is not working. Finally get a fellow traveler to call by phone to resolve the issue.

Nice clean quiet place. We arrived after hours and they had an automated system to get us the keys. Located a block away from the bus stop to go directly to the airport.

Great value with easy access to transport

Great location for Ratingen centre and for access to the public transport system. Turn left out of the hotel and at the end of the street is the bus stop. Number 760 goes directly to the airport. I highly recommend the Moovit app which will help you get anywhere in the city in real time. Hotel room was comfortable, clean and very quiet with a good powerful shower. Breakfast buffet was okay but not really worth 10 each. There’s an excellent coffee shop / bakery by the bus stop.

Lovely room. Hotel seemed clean and reception polite and helpful. We arrived late and as I hadn't realised it would be so late I hadn't advised beforehand. The phone number on my paperwork didn't connect but after a quick re check on my phone we found a number and they quickly talked me through accessing via their secure key box on the front door.

Not Sure If We Would Stay Again.

Just spent 3 nites at the Sure. Check in was very good. Staff were very nice and efficient. The room itself was a good size for European standards. The beds were firm and comfortable, the pillows, not my style, but again, European. My only negatives were that the carpets were badly stained, really gross. Nothing that a carpet cleaning would not take care of. The room had a bit of a smell, perhaps a smelly sink? We bought a number of groceries, and when we went to put them into the fridge, we discovered the the fridge did not work, we did not even mention this to management. Breakfast was very good. The location is perfect, one block from the main core of Ratingen. Close to groceries, restaurants, and about 15 min walk to train that goes into Dusseldorf. The hotel is getting dated, not a problem, but management must work to maintain the quality of a Best Western.

The parking has been a slight problem at this Hotel, as well we informed the Hotel that we arrive at the DUS Airport by 11PM. We were told just to ring the bell when we arrive instead of receiving the code to get the room key. The "older" gentleman had a tough time to open the door for us, especially as we were waiting and standing outside in the rain around midnight. Otherwise it is an excellent breakfast (charge).
