A real log cabin perched on its own hilltop overlooking Spring Canyon with 360-degree views of rolling Black Hills terrain. Three levels of warm wood, handcrafted details, and wide windows framing the kind of scenery most people only see from a car. Two living areas, a soaking tub with views, and multiple decks give everyone space to spread out. No neighbors in sight yet only a few minutes out of town! This is not a subdivision cabin with a view of the next roofline.

This cabin sits alone on a hilltop at the edge of Spring Canyon. The drone photos don`t exaggerate. You`re surrounded by open, undeveloped hills in every direction with no other rooflines competing for the view. The property is accessed by a private winding driveway off South Canyon Road, and once you`re up top, the rest of the world drops away.
Inside, the cabin is built with real log walls, hardwood floors, and knotty pine ceilings throughout. The main level has an open-concept kitchen, dining area with a handmade log table, and a living room with a large TV, leather seating, and a rustic driftwood coffee table. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, plenty of counter space, and a breakfast bar.
The entire upper level is the master suite, a vaulted loft with panoramic windows, a soaking tub with river stone surround and views of the hills, and a separate glass-enclosed shower. It`s an open loft layout, so keep that in mind for your group.
The lower level has its own living room with a large TV, a second seating area, a bedroom, and walkout access to the deck and canyon views. Multiple decks on different levels let you chase the sun or the shade throughout the day.

You`ll have full access to the entire cabin, all three levels, and all outdoor decks. The entry code will be provided in your check-in instructions the day before arrival. No shared spaces. The property is entirely yours for the duration of your stay.

The driveway is steep and winding. It is gravel that is well-maintained, but it requires a careful approach, especially if you`re arriving after dark. Take it slow and you`ll be fine. Any standard vehicle can make it, but low-clearance sports cars may scrape.

The master suite is an open loft, meaning there is no door separating it from the main level staircase. This works perfectly for couples or families who don`t need a closed-off bedroom, but it`s worth knowing if privacy between rooms is important to your group.

The cabin is in a rural setting. Cell service is adequate but not strong everywhere in the canyon. Wifi is provided and reliable inside the home.

The nearest grocery store and gas station are about 15 minutes away in Rapid City.

Wildlife is common in the area. Deer, turkeys, and the occasional coyote are regular visitors. Keep food secured and trash inside.

As a Superhost, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can be! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful memories in our cozy home while leaving it nice and clean for the next guests.

IMPORTANT: No smoking of any kind is allowed on the property. This includes cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vaping, marijuana, etc Should this rule be violated, the guest will be liable for a minimum $250 charge plus the cost to have the house remediated by a professional cleaning company.

Up to two dogs are allowed by pre-approval only.

Quiet hours are between 9 pm and 8 am.

General Damages
Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so it can be rectified. All damages or missing items occurring during your stay will need to be paid for by you before departure. Cleaners check for damages and any missing items after each stay. Any damages or missing items can and will be billed to the guest.

Fire Prevention and Safety
Please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving for the day. This includes space heaters, air conditioners, fans, hair curlers/straighteners and
portable device chargers.

Other
The space you are booking is good for 10 people. No one is allowed in the home not already specified before starting the stay. If guests are found to be having/had a party without the host`s permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

We may leave consumables such as coffee and small snacks for you to enjoy. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. However, ultimately, it is up to the guests` discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.

If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs, intoxicated, or acting in a manner that is dangerous to others or the property of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community, not a hotel, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave.
