A wonderful experience

A gem of a boutique hotel; all employees did their best to help us have a wonderful first visit to Queretaro. The location was perfect to walk and learn about the history. The city was spotless and safety was not an issue. We were 6 people, from Canada, Mexico, Germany ... all were very pleased and we would stay at the Casona again. Order mexican breakfast!!!

The room I got from them it didn’t have air exhaust for the bathroom and all the humidity gets in the rest of the room, the AC didn’t have a remote control, ask for one and the staff didn’t have an extra one and they offered a fan... and then they asked me if I wanted to move to an upgraded room for $650(42USD) mexican pesos more, like if it was my problem the AC didn’t have a remote control, they showed me the other room and I took the remote control from there, to find out the AC in the room, didn’t work, it was a fan, it didn’t blow out cold air. The bed was too firm and didn’t have a good night of sleep. Parking was a hustle, they expected me to go around the block again for the valet parking staff to return and pick up. Won’t be coming here again for the $160 I paid for the night, it wasn’t worth it.

Within walking distance to main square

Very nice hotel, staff is excellent, room we stayed in is the Abasolo, very nice old Mexico great hacienda feel. Great old city view from the rooftop patio. Surely there must be some great history of this great old Casona nicely updated keeping the old essence. They have a breakfast included everyday until 12 noon. Only drawback is no restaurant for dinner.

Nice Hotel great location

I stayed in the Presidential Suite and didn't spend to much time in the room. When i walked in the room it smelled like pesticides. The room looked clean. Place looked nice. It was just weird when checking out they had to go back to the room to check if everything was ok. Like they had to make sure I hadn't broken or stolen something. Just wondering why when they have my credit card information. I guess I'm not used to that, they don't usually do that at other hotels where I have stayed.

Cute hotel in city center

Amazing stay at the hotel. Very attentive staff, beautiful grounds and rooftop, nicely decorated rooms, comfortable, and great location. Wish the rooms could be a bit cooler and for the rooftop to be utilized a bit more besides planned events (great view during the day and night!).
