Mountain Top Park Hotel was a great place for us to stay! We stayed for a week. The staff is SUPER nice and helpful and accommodating. They really spend the time to make you feel welcome and make your stay as easy as possible. The only downside of the hotel is the surrounding area there’s not a ton to do if you’re staying for a few days or more. But the grounds of the hotel is gorgeous and walking around in the mountain top park is so cool. We saw so much wildlife even from our balcony!! It was the coolest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Truly loved it and so thankful for the staff!!

The property has amazing scenic views just a step away from your bedroom. The hotel offers breakfast also with amazing views and if youre lucky you can observe different wildlife. The costumer service 100/10 from before your trip to during the trip. Dont miss out on the tours they offer, like hanging bridges and zip lining and walking tours to spot the wildlife even a spa. If you want to disconnect this is the perfect place. Very friendly staff that can even help with booking tours off the premises.

This was a great place to stay. The service was great. The place was extremely clean. Breakfast was good. The views are amazing. They do a free jungle tour in the mourning with Jose. I highly recommend the tour. I will stay here again.

This hotel was very nice with some nice (short) trails to whet your appetite for Manuel Antonio. There were also a series of suspension bridges that the kids really enjoyed. Staff were very nice and have extended golf carts to take you from the main gate to the hotel entrance which is nice when you have already hiked miles. Breakfast was great. Sunrises from the forest view rooms were breathtaking. Only negative would have been the size of the room was a little cramped for 4 people (2 adults and 2 teenagers). But really this was one of our favorite stays.

I’d definitely stay here again.

The staff made this vacation stay exceptional for us. The kindness went beyond what we could’ve imagined. The food here was better than the restaurants we’ve tried outside of the hotel. And the morning sunrise views were immaculate. The free breakfast included with the stay was great! And the monkeys swinging from tree to tree while eating was definitely exciting to watch. I highly recommend this stay if you’re in the area.

There is very limited parking spaces in front of the hotel. The reception (entrance) is far from the hotel. the hotel is at the top of the mountain which is difficult to walk. The breakfast buffet was very limited options and the staff serve the food , you are not free to take whatever you want, but hotel is very clean, bathrooms are fancy, towels and sheets are super clean, beds are okay, not terrible and the smart TV was a plus. You can watch netflix. the view on the top is amazing , you can see the sea and the mountains range from the top , breath taken views. reception personnel are extremely helpful and nice, they will help you with anything you need. I had a good time there

It was nicely situated, as the title of the hotel states, at a mountain top with a 360degree view from mountain side to beach side. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, new construction. Breakfast buffet options were great. We initially got a room that had a bathroom pipe/sewer issue but they quickly moved us to another room. They offer a nice morning tour of the hotels rainforest….we got to see a lot of different animals, especially monkeys. The DISADVANTAGE was that after wanting to just relax the 1st evening and enjoy the property…..there was not enough restaurant staff for dinner so at 7:55pm the chef told the waiter he would not accommodate any more seatings and we were not able to eat dinner there….especially with over an hour left before restaurant closed. That part is poorly managed.

Cleaning lady aggressive and rude, persistently knocking on the door 40 min before check out time to vacate the room. And not sure what she told the staff but after I checked out, she brought in 2 other staff and they were all inspecting the room not sure for what. Like I was doing something suspicious in the room since I was a solo traveler. When I asked what was wrong, their response was this is normal procedure which I highly doubt.

Wow! This was the perfect hotel. Staff in the hotel and restaurant were fantastic and friendly. Kevin cooked up some tuna we caught on the boat and it was excellent. Also the food at the restaurant was very good. You must try the soup!! The hanging bridge tour is a must do and free. Saw sunrises and sunsets. So many common viewing areas! Having the golf carts take you up the steepest part of the mountain is great too. Lots of really good restaurants nearby. Can’t wait to go back!

There were no bath towels and no bottom sheet or comforter on the bed. I had to dry myself with a hand towel after my shower. Breakfast was not very good and there were ants on 80% of the food on the buffet table. The view from my room was gorgeous however.

The employees were very pleasant and nice. The parking is abysmal. The hotel is unfinished on the exterior and has many unpleasant and hazardous issues. The breakfast was so bland as to be inedible. Other reviews have to be fake, bc this would not be 5 stars by even the most basic standards. We had to replace a tire from damage from construction debris in parking as well. Overall, wouldn’t return.

We stayed at the forest view room and the view was absolutely breathtaking, and the beds were comfortable. It was a pleasure watching the sunrise from your bed every morning before excursions. The staff were welcoming and very competent. The hotel is a boutique style so the staff will know you by name and drive you with their golf cart from/to the main gate whenever. For all service all you have to do is text them on WhatsApp and they are there in less than 5mins. The hotel is a park as well so you will spot animals. We got to see sloth, monkeys, and macaws. We also zip lined the park, which again the staff can help you book. They also arranged our Manuel Antonio Park tour. They have multiple hanging bridges to visit. In conclusion, quoting my teenage son, this hotel is AMAZING! They have everything.
