Awesome house, and incredible staff! Wai was a great help and we felt very welcomed and at home instantly. Fully stocked kitchen so we were able to easily cook meals. Location was solid as we could walk to markets, shops or restaurants; a taxi to these areas run roughly 10 USD. Very centralized for activities such as beach, zip lining or exploring parks. Very highly recommended!!

Beautiful jungle home

This home is lovely and just how described. Beautiful and comfortable furnishings and kitchen very well stocked. We spent a lot of time on the outside veranda especially in the mornings while having coffee and watching the birds and butterflies. Bedrooms are very comfortable and air conditioner units were great. We also loved the pool area and would spend our afternoons enjoying it. Home is tucked back into the jungle; we had a car so was no problem coming and going. I would highly recommend this house!

Sibling Trip

We spent a week at Casa Calma on a sibling trip. It was amazing!!! The house was perfect for our three couples. It is so pretty and private. Wai, the concierge, was so helpful arranging our outings and just checking to make sure everything was good at the house. The housekeeper was almost wonderful. We went home with clean clothes! Highly recommend Casa Calma and would definitely stay there again!!!

The Perfect Stay

From initial reservation to pre-trip activity planning, to check-in and throughout our entire stay, Casa Calma was an outstanding experience all around. We opted for the private chef for all of our dinners and this turned out to be a great move. The chef offered an expansive and fresh menu—and the flexibility to change plans when we caught a mahi mahi. The house is very clean, secure and a great place to watch wildlife in the jungle. Concierge service is a huge value. Will definitely come back!

Casa Calma was perfection for our family. The pool was the perfect size for our two young children, we saw monkeys from the balcony every day, and the house had everything we needed. On top of that, Wai went above and beyond to make sure we had an easy, memorable stay. Don’t think twice: book Casa Calma!

Manuel Antonio House

Property and host was excellent. Highly recommend getting a private chef for a night or two. Sitting on he porch there is so much wildlife that comes through the area to watch. Property is close to a few homes but very secluded and tricky to get to if you're driving yourself. Short drive to restaurants, beaches, activities, but I would recommend taking a taxi out and back. All tours did pick-up right outside our door.

Relax Costa Rica

Wai was an amazing host from the time we checked in until the day we departed. He even came early in the morning the day we left to make sure our stay was what we thought it would be. Home is in a great neighborhood. We had monkeys come through everyday mornings and afternoons. Home was awesome as well. Very comfortable close to both Quespos and Manuel Antonio. Stay at Casa Calma

We loved our stay. Having the pool was great. We enjoyed getting up early every morning and sitting in the outdoor living area, listening to the monkeys and birds. What are you doing on the left side had a pretty strong smell to it I am glad that we didn’t have to use that bedroom because I don’t think I could’ve slept in it. Other than that everything else was wonderful.

Beautiful, Big, Private Hideaway

Perfect for large family groups, with options for indoor and outdoor lounging and eating. It is best to have a 4 wheel drive and early excursions and plan to get back before dark because it is definitely up at the top of the road. We really enjoyed the sounds and sights of the jungle, including a howler monkey serenade.

Great experience!

We loved our stay at Casa Calma! The house is in a great location, a short drive to both Quepos and Manuel Antonio. It was clean and comfortable - the beds were so comfy! We loved the downstairs living area that gave our kids their own space. The best part of the house is definitely the outdoor living room. Perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning, a drink in the evening, or a family board game. To sit there and watch the monkeys in the trees was amazing - and we saw many! The pool was big enough for cooling off and for the kids to splash around. Our only complaint is that the pool deck was a bit crowded. It’s not huge to begin with, and it has too many large potted plants. It made it difficult to easily and safely get around the pool. We would definitely recommend this house, and would stay again!

Perfect retreat

My family ( all adult, 2 couples and a single) stayed very comfortably in this well maintained home, the photos are great representation of the home. While we didn’t see much wildlife ( a few birds) we could hear the howler monkeys in the morning which was super cool. The home felt secure and pretty private from neighbors. Wai the concierge was extremely responsive, he helped us with tours and activities. Quepos was a nice town, good beaches. House is very close to Manual Antonio Park. Wai suggested a private chef that cooked the fish we caught, he was excellent. The pool area is small but nice. It was a great place and I would recommend it. We had absolutely no issues, super smooth stay. The road getting there is a little intimidating at first but after you do it once it was fine.

Outstanding!

This location is just wonderful- particularly if you’re interested in wildlife. Tons of monkeys, toucans, butterflies. The property is very well payed out with three bedrooms/bathrooms plus another half bath. Wai was exceptional from the moment we booked and throughout the trip. Odette cleaned the property daily - and did our laundry. Completely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Best vacation ever!!

Beautiful house! Wai met us at the house when we arrived. Showed us around and answered all questions. The cleaner was amazing, she did all of our laundry before we left to come home. Great location, close to everything. And we saw monkeys every morning. Would definitely stay again!!

Home away from home +

This is a wonderful property great for families or multiple families. The set up of the home with the upstairs, downstairs and the huge porch was great for separate spaces. The house cleaning service includes doing your personal laundry which was a surprise and an amazing treat for a mom of three littles. Thank you!! It was close to everything we needed and the only thing we wished we had more of was time there. Highly recommend this property!

Fun In The Jungle

Got to experience Costa Rica like the locals in the lovely residential hillside community between Manuel Antonio and Quepos. Especially enjoyed the large covered 2nd story patio with views to daily monkey visits. Wai, our concierge booked the best tours and guilds for us and was very responsive to our needs.
