Excellent staff and facilities. Rooms were large but tired and needed refreshing. Excellent bar with happy hour and restaurant with fantastic view. Wonderful stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Older property out of the town centre. Great view of the lake and mountains from my room and the bar area. Short walk along the lake to CBD but there is a hill to deal with on the return. The breakfast was very basic but ok. The breakfast room coffee was less than ok

Great location and room had breathtaking views of lake and mountains. Only downside was restaurant. Service was slow, disorganized and food was cold. Only tried it once but was unwilling to give it another go. Plenty of great placed downtown.

Breakfast buffet very good, food changed over well before emptied to keep hot food fresh, spectacular views from both restaurants and our room. All the staff were exceptional and well trained in hospitality. We received a personal message on booking and a birthday surprise in our room. Fern Hill was a great location up high with uninterrupted views and away from busy roads but a short 3 minute drive to town.

We had amazing views over the lake. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The bar was a great place to hang out and the food we ordered there was very good. Breakfast is ok but you get amazing views over the lake, so it's definitely a great option.

Loved the lakeside room, view was spectacular of the lake and mountains. Comfortable with two queen beds for the three of us. Shame they do not have a airport shuttle bus, while there is a bus service, it is min $10 per person from the airport which drops you near the hotel. Ok if you have only carry on bags.

Not having a duvet for the bed in winter meant having to have the heating running all time was negative friendly staff, but check in was delayed due to room not being ready late check at at 11 is positive

When I arrived, they said they upgraded me to a lake view room, which is great. Sadly, as we walked into the room we were surprised by wet upholstery smell from one of the benches and sewage smell in the bathroom. We did tell the front desk about it and they were very apologetic and tried what they can to clean it and even offered us a different room which we had to reluctantly reject. Unfortunately, we have our young infant with us so when we are in the hotel it is likely that he is asleep and moving will most likely disturb his sleep. Tldr: they really need to look into the issue with that room. I commend them on their customer service but if the issue isn't addressed, we certainly won't be the last person complaining about it.
