The rooms were dirty. Ask for wash clothes and never got any all week. It took forever to get a drink at the bar and at restaurants. Evening restaurants were good. But they would only reserve 3 nights at a time. So last night was by luck they found us a late night restaurant. Buffets were very bland. Never saw salt and pepper. No ice machine. So no sitting in room to make your own drink. If you are in a basic room(yellow arm bands) you were waited on dead last. They only gave us 3 towel cards for 5 people. Then when we check out told us were supposed to come back the 2nd day to get the other 2. Then because I didn't have the last 2 cards the wanted to charge me $20 because i didn't have them. And that's not everything. I will NEVER be back! And I will make sure and tell everyone not to go here.

This place is a joke, don’t ever go here. Their whole resort is very outdated with the exception of the ULC area. Seems like most of their focus is only to better the ULC. Second, the room the gave us was not cleaned and the washroom had a dirty tub with black grim and a broken toilet seat. Also worth noting is that their plugs were not working and I needed this to plug in a medical device. When I went to the concierge to complain they said I needed to fill out a report and that it could take the whole day to fix. I asked if there was another room available as I had just checked in and they said no which is highly unlikely due to the low season. We decided to stay and then got a service call on the last day asking if everything was good, I told them this is the worst resort I have ever been too and would never come back. The person that spoke to me said I would’ve given you a new room which was great if I wasn’t leaving the next day already. There is definitely a lack of supervision and the employees just do as they please. Example of this is at the pool buffet; all the staff just hide in the middle room and no one cleans the dishes and the place was absolutely trashed during lunch. I saw a whole plate of spill on the ground and no one cleaned for the hour I was in the restaurant, I also had to wait for plates for 30 mins. The Ala Cartes are no better, the service was slow and at Route 66 they sat us in a booth and I fell in through because the booth was broken. Not a 5 star!

I am writing to you to provide a rating experience for a recent resort booking made through your platform. Unfortunately, my stay was extremely disappointing due to serious safety issues, poor maintenance, and unprofessional service at the property. During my stay: The waterpark was poorly maintained, which caused me multiple injuries: a cut on my head and leg, and a severe hit to my foot that resulted in swelling and difficulty walking. Despite these injuries, the hotel refused to cooperate or provide proper assistance. They declined to arrange a golf cart or any support to help me move around, even during mealtimes. The staff were consistently rude. When I asked for information or assistance, they often hung up mid-conversation or dismissed my requests without help. The room was in unacceptable condition: there was mold on the open couch, cockroaches and other insects in the washroom, and a strong odor resembling rotting even after cleaning. In the last couple of days, the pool water became stinky with no working filter. Insects and leaves were floating everywhere, making it unusable. At the same time, the beach was entirely closed due to seaweed, leaving no clean or safe swimming option for guests. This experience not only ruined my trip but also put my health and safety at risk. I expected a far higher standard from a resort booked through Expedia, and I feel completely let down.

There were lots of flies in our room, and some of the staff that we encounter were trying to over charge us for certain services. Me understanding Spanish was a plus because they couldn’t take advantage of me like they intended to do. The service became a bit better when they were aware that I spoke their language, but you can easily see and feel the difference in treatment when they were under the impression that someone is a “gringo” like they refer to tourist/Americans. I will not go back to this resort.

This is my first time traveling to this country. We had a great time traveling with 25 people. The hotel has good facilities and left us with a good impression. The staff are very nice and have a good service attitude. I will come next time.

Everything was excellent except the fact that the ac wasn’t working and the room that was exchanged was next to a septic tank system and there were a bunch of bugs by the door of the room.

Everything was ok but the staff wasn’t so great . The moment they realized that u don’t speak Spanish, they don’t want to served you even though most of them do speak English, i also pay to have my room decorated for my wife birthday all I receive was a cake , no one showed up at the time that was discussed with the concierge Roberto I was the one who had to walk and find someone to get the cake , and my kids was the one that had to decorate the room for my wife birthday. They still try to charge me for the set up of the room even though it wasn’t done. The staff there are very racist and rude

We do NOT recommend this resort! Spent 6-day at this resort, and it was by far the worst resort we have ever stayed at (and we’ve been to 7 different all-inclusive resorts in both the DR and Cancun). Staff & Service We received zero service at this resort. We constantly had to flag down staff to get drinks or have plates cleared. Most staff members spoke very little or no English, even at the front desk. Besides language barrier, there was no desire to help. We barely got any greeting during the entire stay. Staff shooed my daughter away while she was asking for water. my husband, was with three kids, was at the candy station and asked for gummies. The staff rolled her eyes at him (gave him nasty attitude) and only gave one gummy per child at a time. Room The "queen" bed was actually closer to a full-size bed, and the mattress sagged badly in the middle. The hairdryer was broken, the refrigerator didn’t get cold (more like room temperature), and we couldn’t pump out the shower gel. The safe was not open. We had to call three times and wait an entire night for someone to come and fix it. Out of the 4 issues we reported, only two were fixed, and that required long waits and multiple follow-ups. Facilities The property is poorly maintained. E.g., there were broken bricks on the pathways Cleanliness cockroaches and flies in the dining areas all the time, there was fly on my plate. Food: food was not good or fresh, staff used hand without glove to grab/handle/serve food.

We had minor problems with our room which was immediately fixed to a certain extent. However, staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was 7/10. The photos of the Waterpark does it no justice. Definitely family friendly resort and will definitely book again.

Property is HUGE!! Maybe too big. A bit outdated. Check in experience was not great. Was treated very poorly at the buffet, had to complain to management. Definitely lacking in customer service

The food was terrible, lack of utensils. Seafood utensils shared with meats, with me allergic to seafood. The pools were 7ft deep, I can't swim. Light bulbs not available, toilet seat broken, dresser broken, room needs upgrading, very old. There huge roaches in the buffet restaurant.

I stayed at Grand Sirenis from August 20-24th and we did not have a pleasant experience. I would rate this hotel at a 2 star at most. It was very hot in Punta Cana and the air conditioning in room was not great, felt warm, had to be changed rooms due to cleanliness. Our second room the bathroom had a leak and phone wires exposed. TV was also not working. Restaurants were very hot. Not a lot of activities for kids once pools close. Waterpark looked very unsafe, my kids love waterparks and didn't go down slides that much due to looking unsafe. If you are not a member don't get to use golf carts. Service was not great, the hotel was packed and the people that worked there did not seem happy to be waiting on you. Restaurants were also not well kept. The entire hotel needs a lot of maintenance. Do not go here if you are planning on going in August. They did not clean seaweed on beach well, couldn't use beach.
